A very old vhs collection that im VERY slowly converting to DVD! The really old stuff from the 80s like this one came from some guy through one of our old fanzines, the later stuffs just mine that I recorded as I was growing up.
I've been thinking about this and other football videos of the time... thing is, if you look carefully at Fern - the Willie Thorne lookalike- ie his general build, stomach definition etc, you'd say there's no way in the world he would be a footballer at any higher level than Sunday League these days. This is the equivalent of the Championship, well the players there now all look so fit and toned, this poor guy would be left gasping after 10 minutes in a game today!
