Going to throw some engagement your way. In my opinion I like the way you approached your vid 90% valid and 10% nitpicky... I get the nit picky because it kinda cascades from being so non-immersive that even more minute things just continue to pile on taking you away from the experience. I agree with you regarding the concept being strong and I love survivor games also. I think you may some good points regarding the immersion and tutorial structure because they if a game makes you work for those initial items and craft them its a more intimate introductionand makes you a bit invested in what your doing. You should really share this videos with the devs because they are at least responding to the comments on the store page which tells me they care and probably need to see that experience from your perspective. I think there is a lot of clever things they could do based on what you showed me. Example imagine throwing your axe to knock the berry down instead of generic chopping everything. You are right that the bones are there but they needs someone who is creative and experienced on that team to not think about this as a 2d game which is why I think the launch version is kinda meh. Anyway, Thanks for taking the time to create the video. Hope you appreciate the engagement and best of luck on your grind to getting your channel off the ground. Cheers
Definitely appreciate the engagement and your thoughts :). Glad you enjoyed the video. I definitely went on a little bit of a rampage there and got into nitpick territory. I do have a line of communication with the devs, but honestly, I feel a bit burned by the very low quality of this game at launch. If there are more updates I may come back to it, but as I mentioned in the video this game would basically need rethinking of entire systems to be viable at all as a VR title. I do really love your axe throwing idea to get at the berries. If only someone with ideas like that had been on the development team of Smalland Survive The Wilds VR.
I cant get the pickaxe to work
Damn not surprising. This game has all sorts of issues.

Also smalland vr is based on the flat screen version
Yea... so I was really hoping for it to have an equal level of quality.
