I think it's because Broly's teams need the help more while Gogeta's teams are good without him.
Gogeta can easily get replaced in Super Heroes + His banner is pretty bad, Broly isn't special but he's not bad and also He's an extreme unit which is very valuable, What's so difficult to understand

Because broly has a better banner, plus is more important for teams like super bosses, but super heroes doesn't need gogeta, since you got beast the 6 years, teq ui etc.
barely 6 months from their release and 3/4 anniversary units have or are about to fall out of the top 10. Even the 5th years managed to hold on a bit longer than this and they were designed horribly for 2020. I guess it's moreso that every other unit this year has been designed super well
They did this with 8th year as well drop anniversary units that Aren't that good at the start then drop stronger hard content that are strong at the start
Exactly their kit isnt bad other characters are just even more insane, still Gogeta is just a insanely valuable floater and that is more than enough for me

It’s his opinion, a lot of people will tell you otherwise. I for one believe they are 6th and 7th respectively, but generally speaking they could be anywhere from 6 to 10; it’s still good with the amount of insane units we’ve gotten recently.

Long time global players are going to have most of these characters though. 5 of the characters on the list are EZAs, and they all released 3+ years ago.
@@Yes-yx6ucHaven't been playing for a few months now, but I've played since the first months of global and never pulled either Team Universe 7 or 17 and Frieza. Yellow coin characters have never been good to summon for, so it's less likely players have summoned for them and have them compared to Dokkanfest LRs.

I think you have to remember one thing, you have every unit in the game rainbowed. This allows you to finish a lot faster then most.

@@SK23. I'm just giving another view point. I spend money but not enough to rainbow on the first time they come around. People that do this are less the 1% so I think having 2 view points on this is a good idea and could affect tier list. Evade becomes a lot more important when your DEF isn't maxed at 100% lol

Well aside from Beast and Cell Max which you also mentioned, when Agl UI and evo Vegeta die, they revive and you can continue, with them being even stronger. When Teq UIO dies, it’s the end of the game. There’s no reversing that, so by that logic, he should be below the 6th anni Lrs

Hes a villian, not alot of great villians; while alot of these characters in the top 10 have replaceable super options.
Broly is also still very good, just because hes not high on the list doesnt mean hes not great; just that all the units they’re releasing these days are broken as fuck

If you are going to do showcases on LR 17 and Frieza, you should also redo them once they fix their passive as getting to 85% dmg reduction makes a massive difference, at that point nothing in the game can hurt them.
You underestimate heavily gogeta base and brolys base. He tanks better than teq ui (once boss super connects). Neither Base gogeta nor brolys base do die due to the hardest difficult short content rn.
Gogeta offers also rainbow orbchanging which helps out his team.
You definitely undervalue what gogeta brings to the team.

So basically, if we get longer fights, GOATgeta will go higher 🤔 I feel like we’ve been in this scenario a dozen times with characters that “oh they just need a long fight to be good”, but we never really get there… unfortunate
We do have longer fights. Most of the hardest fights this year take an average of five turns more more. Last year, events ended by T4.
I would definitely put gogeta at 6. compared to broly he is only mid for 1 turn AND is rainbow orb changing even in base. He is meant for slot 3 in base anyways which has less attacks most of the time. I don’t think it’s that big of a flaw. Then again my fights aren’t as short as yours and I feel the might of his active a lot more often

turn one hitting for millions of damage meanwhile only a bunch of character can handle it and the rest of the units sitting in your box and u cant enjoy them anymore?
I've hated this since 7th anni. Power creep is out of control. Now we're getting major powercreep every few months. This is like the 2016/17 meta and that was HORRIBLE. Part of the reason I don't play Dokkan much anymore. It's not fun when you need Beast for every fight.
That's literally how all gacha games, you don't like gacha games is what you mean.

@@yamete1729 Dokkan used to have a smoother pace for powercreep, where you could still use multiple teams in relevant content. With the last couple of years, this has changed. And many people don't like this change. "But everyone else does it too" isn't a valid excuse.

Truth you should do a tier list for every relevant unit for each hard fight in a long video. That would be both helpful to newer players and for certain missions Dokkan puts out.

To all the Global players currently complaining: Broly and Gogeta didn't fall off. This is just a testament to how amazing the designs were/are this year. Its something to celebrate and feel good about, dokkan bros.

Yes and no. Yes they are still very good and almost every unit released this year have been either designed really well or got enough support to work effectively. (Although F2P units could be slightly better)
But at the same time, even as someone who's F2P and doesn't have these potent rainbowed JP exclusive units to get to the final phase on turn 4 before they build up, there are lots of times where Broly and Gogeta are the ones killing me, not Int Buu or Teq Zamasu or GW SS3 Goku.
And while Datruth DOES sound like despises Broly sometimes (and I kind of wonder if he does lol), a majority of his criticisms are valid.
I think it's perfectly fine to complain about how long they take to get running, how item dependent broly is when you're running two of him, how Broly isn't providing utility until at least turn 5 (and that's with good RNG).
If they had given base Broly 30% DR for his first 3 turns and loosened his restriction to just turn 4, then he'd feel a lot better. If they loosened gogetas restriction to turn 4 and gave him guard his first transformed turn, he'd be a lot better.

I agree with the placements, but I disagree with how hard Truth is slandering these units and with his disregarding of 99% of relevant content to propagate being 100% at your best turn 1. 95% of relevant content's not hitting hard turn 1, and 90% of these units are only not at their best turn 1. Gogeta isn't bad in base. Should he have been better? Yes. Also, his transformation condition isn't bad. Broly's is godawful. Gogeta's isn't. Again, should it have been better? Yes. But that doesn't make it bad.
Well 95% of content is Quest, Story, and Dokkan Events so you are correct lol
I feel like Truth is being a little inconsistent with his whole "it's not about the potential, it's about how they actually perform" thing. By that logic, he should definitely have AGL UI Goku above INT SSBE Vegeta, as the biggest point he had to have Vegeta over Goku was that Vegeta's revive was easier, but that clearly actually isn't the case if Truth is consistently seeing AGL UI Goku's revive over INT SSBE Vegeta's. That coupled with the figuring out how Goku's dodge chance works, and the fact that he can get two whole turns of guaranteed dodge, I just don't see the argument for Vegeta over Goku anymore especially given Truth's experience with the units

I think one of the different between broly and gogeta is gogeta can get cover by beast and other super hero easily. So the turn one thing are not that important to gogeta, i think the performance gogeta would give is better than those new eza

I think the gammas should be no10 or 9 because while they do struggle on turn 1 brolly struggle for 2 turns and even after he transform he is not a slot 1 unit, the gammas have support for the best category in the game by far and are insane tanks, gamma 1 has two turn support with is like his team protector macanic i remember how last year everyone where taking about how good int ssj4 goku and str bulma 2 turn support where, in addition the standby attack seals which can really help in cell max, like you said buuhan and brolly also struggles in the early fight.
Honestly this list is spot on, except for AGL UI - i love my boy INT Vegeta but AGL UI and the dodging is just too strong. Dodge is the strongest mechanic in the whole game - you can take 0 damage from any attack. Now since Teq UI dodge canceling dodge domain; i see more value in AGL Ui now long term. Honestly AGL Ui is like fine wine - the more he ages the better he becomes...

the team uni7 and g17 are also pretty insane is the team they are optimal on having agl mui being a perfect slot1 and having other 3 options that can be slot 1 if desperate enough that being ssbe vegeta and str/teq omen ui (i like usin str ui but most stuff ends so damn fast unless the occasional over 8 turns)

It's a bit of a "wrong" comparison, but is AGL ssj3 Goku in the same tier as Agl UI Goku and Evo Blue Vegeta?
I could see it, but SSJ3 does fall off slightly after a few turns

Cell Max has a similar weakness, but when you are rocking the "meta" setups, it's gonna be really hard to go beyond turn 7 of the fight, and Agl Ssj3 goku is LITERALLY invincible for his first 3 attacking rotations, as opposed to a certain new Ui Goku that despite having Guard and damage reduction, takes 600k from a 2.7 million super AFTER the superattack, because his condition of transformation can actually lead to being caught by a super from the toughest bosses if he doesn't dodges, before he can actually transform and become a god)
@@StarNameKev Continuing the previous message, people think that Teq Ui goku has a "perceived, theoretical" weakness but that's actually something that makes you lose some of the hardest figths, for example, you will for sure blitz through the first phase and get killed by Evolution blue vegeta that cancel dodge, before Ui is ready to negate that, while Ssj3 goku and Cell Max are considered to be a good unit with a "real" weakness, but in practice these are just theoretical weaknesses that really don't show up unless in very specific situation, such as Movie boss rush fight / running bad setups on Gogeta fight for the sake of missions with bad categories

At the moment, i already know and realise that this is what we will be dealing with. The anniversary, characters that we have now will get power crept by the barrage of content from the future bosses that we will be getting.
I think the reason why people get mad at you Truth for your Teq UI takes is because he’s a slot 2 character that CAN be run in slot 1 if he HAS to. You run him in slot one every time where he has no supers to support himself or increase his defense so of course he looks less impressive for you rather than the people that are using him correctly

I think it's pretty unacceptable how anniversary units out of all units are already falling off. With the exception of Beast Gohan, the fact that Gogeta, Broly, and the Gammas aren't good anymore is just sad. Part of it has to do with the devs making the events way too hard. You would want to get your money's worth by beating all the events with the newest units, but it sucks knowing that the units you just spent a lot money and stones on aren't even worth it in the future.
Man the hottest units on global right now and truth pushes them to the bottom of the list. Think he is just trolling us for being on global. lol
I’m also a global player & tbh the part 1 LR’s do feel underwhelming n base like I wish they were slot 1 good. It takes forever to transform them and they are counting on other units to carry them.

Regarding the usage of Gogeta just rotate him the first turn he shows up and when he comes back on his 4th turn you are good to go and yes 6th to 8th place is where he belongs and that doesn't mean he is bad it's just other characters are safer to use before he transforms

He’s third or second at the very least, wildest take I’ve ever seen. The blue fusions had a very good EZA and were loved but fell behind, the 6th anni LRs will too. Them that high? No. Absolutely not. I think EZAs need to be on their own tier list and not be above characters that came out last night lmao. Why summon then if old units are better? Maybe it’s time to make EZAs just ok again cause old units being better than new units makes zero money, negative money. Omatsu look into that

Well, you didn't consider transformations when placing EZA LR int Cell in tier lists during his shining time, because he was bad in base but top 3 in the game when transformed. So now we start do it too? Where's the catch?
Honestly it’s crazy how weak the part 1 anniversary LR’s are n base and I’m saying this as a global player… I was getting cooked n my kid buu run because it takes so long for them to transform! They should’ve been better in base, they are depending on other units to carry most of the fight 🤦🏾♂️

Also my 55% teq ui Goku can tank 300k from an agl ssbe vegeta super at rainbowed it woulda been nothing, ur also underrating teq ui who should easily be #1

I think it's about time piccolo got out of here but I don't see how gammas are already out. Gamma 1 is easily one of the strongest character in this list with 80% damage reduction, 2 turn support and 50% support and 100% crit.
I swear these whales will say you have already won the fight by the time you get to gamma 1 but that never felt true to me. It's just a max of 3 rotations to get to him, that's not much more than teq ui sign or broly.
I think it's really unfair that someone like cell max is so high when for me he has sold way more than the gammas have ever done. I really don'y know how your runs go but usually to me cell max does 1 ultra super attack followed by 2 normals then just takes a 1m. I seriously have had that guy sell the fight for me so many times that I don't see what you guys see in him. My Cell max doesn't do impressive damage since he isn't consistent, the 3 turn intro isn't enough for me to say he is defensively great either. The only thing I like about him is his active but that's it. Not like my team is bad either, I am running him on broly's team with superbosses and I think he isn't impressive at all. I would pick the gammas over cell max any day.
