Man thank you so much! Short story, I work in construction, I’m 40 years old and my body can’t take it anymore. I’ve just bought a decent airbrush and I’m saving for a cricut, I’m taking a leap for myself and for my family and granted it might not work out but I have to try. Your videos have answered so many of the questions I had! I want to say thank you, I hope I can eventually get there. Muchas gracias mi amigo!
Awesome! Love the color ways bro, that’s looks great for Juneteenth day, perfect color for Juneteenth. I hope you get some customer to cop your custom work for Juneteenth day! Keep it up DeJesus, ya da man! I hope to look forward to join your custom design contest in the future!
Again you brought up a funny point... One of my friends asked why I always have my pinky out when I paint! Another great vid bro! Question for ya... Is it safe to iron out creases with painted shoes?
Smudges could mean a few different things. Did you get a certain color on a different color panel? Did you not spread the paint enough that you’re seeing brushstrokes?
I really wanted to know what is used if one is wrong when painting? after the job do you use any product to fix it so it can resist water? @@DeJesusCustomFootwear
I was prepping a pair of shoes and when I was using acetone with cotton balls and then when I finished my cotton ball was all black (it was a black shoe) Is this normal?
It’s crazy my wife has had them pens for a notebook for the longest and I never knew that heat would make it disappear 😮 Thanks for yet some more jewels! 🙏🏿
Nope the paints already come quite thin, no need to thin them unless airbrushing.. I don’t belive anywhere here I said 6-8 layers, typically you’d want to be closer to 4-6

Hey DeJesus, I have been watching your videos for a while now and just started my custom business. created my first custom air force ones for a toddler doing the lion king design. I have been using the smallest nail dotting tools like the really tiny for creating outlines. I want to try this method but i am afraid that I will mess up the shoe. when doing smaller sizes with smaller canvas's what is the best tape or paint brush I can use to this method of making cartoon sneakers?. Also can I use this method on making custom jean jackets? thank you for inspiring me to let my creative side out.

Another great video! Have you ever considered a tutorial on brushes? It would help to know which works best for a particular desired effect.
That would make for a pretty solid concept! Thanks for the suggestion

Haha thanks man! I would iron the creases out beforehand, if you did it after painting you’d crack the paint I bet
Best custom advice video out there great editing as well! Instantly subscribed!
Hi just wondering if you add 2 soft to all of the paint when painting on leather/ non fabric shoes ?
No 2 soft is only if you’re working on fabric
What do you "clean" the smudges with? do you use any fixatives after painting?

Is it fine to use 1 sheen of 4 coat for 1 coat and then using a different sheen for the 2nd? Also how many coats of 4 coat do you recommend?
Would you be doing that because you don’t have enough to do 2 coats? Or because you changed your mind? I use 2coats total.
