- The 2010s... A time that doesn't feel that long ago, until you realize that 2019 was 5 freakin' years ago! But in this video, we're specifically talking about the early 2010s (2010 - 2014). Making this video was difficult for a lot of it, but very fun when everything was coming together. Maybe it's just nostalgia and that's obviously apart of why they say nostalgia blinds people but, everything just felt better back then; music, gaming, movies, TV, at least for the most part, especially compared to the 2020s and even the late 2010s. On another note, I hope you guys enjoy this video; subscribers and new viewers. I appreciate all of the support over the past year.

As a Gen Zer (born 1998), the early 2010s were a golden age for our generation. Movies were amazing, video games were exciting and TH-cam began to take off. Not to mention I was in middle school and early high school at that point which I considered a fun time. Sometimes I wish I could restart my life in 2010 just for the fun of it.
Also born in 98, September 7th. Majority of my own personal nostalgia is for the mid to late 90s media. In this case I'm referring to video games, music, shows/films, and the technology used to play all of these forms of entertainment. I was hardly interested in anything past the 2000s. Rarely playing a handful of games for the Ps3, and even then it was my 2 younger brothers who were more interested in the then, latest media. Around 2015 I barely began to play on the Xbox 360, by that point it was already an outdated gaming console since the Xbox One came out in 2013. The only games I played on the 360 were Minecraft (console edition, man that was a great version), and an already relatively "old" game called Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (released in 2013, and both the game and the company that made it have a ridiculous story behind them). The 2nd game was okay to somewhat good imo, but definitely not the worst game I've played.
I was born in 2003 January I miss the early 2010s I remember showing my brother pixel gun 3-D and stuff like angry Birds fanf I watch a lot of shows I remember went silly bands were crazy love the music
Eh. Early 2010s isn’t golden age of generation. 90s and early 00s were golden age for growing up.

I was born 98. Thought movies took a drastic nosedive after the 2000s. Still have nostalgia for the 2010s but nothing like the 2000s.
I was born in 2010 but grew up with Minecraft, Annoying Orange and Little Big Planet. I also watched Filthy Frank, Yo Mama and Smosh at a very young age without supervision, and I grew up with some 2000's stuff, mainly thanks to my older sister (born in 2000)
Honestly the people born mostly 2003-2004 and even 1998-2002 can can relate to the early 2010s

I was born in 2008. I distinctively remember watching HOURS of vine compilations and later Elsa-Gate purged matterial on youtube at around 2015-2017. Simpler times man.

@childishdestino of course man, the only culprit I can think is the overly convulted thumbnail but the video itself was on par with some of the big guys. I'd recommend remaking the thumbnail to be simpler, there is a rule in thumbnail design, 3 points of focus or less.
I figured that the thumbnail had quite a lot in it. I'll probably change it, we'll see
only few videos I've seen that talked about LittleBigPlanet. The game is so underrated, very good video:)
Thank you! LBP was one of my biggest influences during my childhood. I remember I wanted to be a popular creator, and have a level MM picked. It always nice to see others that have played LBP.

I miss early 2010s (2010-2012) those are best years for me in 5th grade. I remember Cartoon Network usually rerunning the classics from 2000s in those times and same thing Disney and Nickelodeon too. It felt like 2000s again feeling. The music better and they also old school hip hop remixes was better than modern mumble hip hop.
Cartoon Network was the best. I used to watch a lot of keyblade as well, peak lego star wars too!

@@THEDARKKNIGHTXTDK I remember watching Ben 10 a lot until early Ultimate Alien and stopped due to how good Regular Show, Gumball and Generator Rex were. I'm still baffled that Cartoon Network shafted the last season of Gen Rex around 2013 to morning slots
@@ThatGuy-ky2yf I felt Cartoon Network died in the year 2013 because they don't run classics and Teen Titans Go! Came out that year then everything went downhill, and the dark age began. Worst times of all and everything changed.
@@THEDARKKNIGHTXTDK I'd personally say around 2016 because a few good shows were still ongoing like Adventure Time and Over the Garden Wall. I haven't checked the channel in a long time but there doesn't seem to be much that appeals to me since. 2016 and the disappointing Powerpuff Girls reboot alongside Steven Universe getting justified criticism was probably when people started to notice CN's quality decline.

I’m a 2001 girl, the early 2010s are genuinely filled with such amazing memories. I wish I could list all of my feelings about it but it would take forever, but I miss those times. It’s like once 2020 hit the greatness of the 2010s was all just gone
2003 kid here. i think 2015 was the last good year. i feel like the magic of the mid to late 2000s changed into that of the early 2010s, then that magic disappeared with 2015. really, it could have even been 2014
@@tfwnoyandere I could see why you feel that way. Personally I really enjoyed the rest of the 2010s up until about mid-2019. That was when everything was sort of devolving into the 2020s
i think it makes more sense to look at those years as 95-05 and then 05-15, rather than 90-99 00-09 and 10-19 like we do now. hopefully next year makes 15-25 any less of a disappointment lol

I wasn't born in the US, but I've watched cn, Nick, and disney growing up, but i stopped watching cn, Disney and nick caus my house didn't have cable when I came to the US and becaus introduced to PBS kids and qubo Even though I was born in 2008 I've experienced every 2000s and easrly 2010s shows only because shows would air in random years and months but good thing is I was alive to watch them.
when I came to the US in 2013, I still watched the big 3 and me and my family and I were living at a friend's house. 2014, when we moved to our house.
Little big planet was my childhood. My character was definitely a product of its time 😭
I played so much LBP between 2012 and 2015. I kinda stopped when LBP3 came out, at least after I played the game a few months after it came out, and the game was nowhere near as good as LBP2. On a sad note all of the LBP servers are now gone even the PS4 servers :(

I’d say 2014 was The Mid-2010s (2014 - 2016), not The Early-2010s (2010 - 2013), but, apart from that, great video.
