11.5 and 23.7 Great times for a 14 year old. That's good for 3rd in the 100m and 1st in 200m at the jamaican high schoo Champs. Hope they invite her to this years Penn Relays to see her compete.
First off, I love the music. What a beautiful stunning talent this girl is. She runs like she's in a different class than the rest and so beautiful to watch the power and stride of this girl that will do great things in this world. At 14 she's just going to get better for years to come. However is coaching her is to be given respect and keep her healthy.
I pray she stays healthy and doesn't let all the attention and pressure get to her. Such beautiful strides, actually she reminds me of two long-legged male sprinters who were great in the 1970s believe it or not . .

@John Parker Reed. IDK. Pretty sure this is her last year at middle school, I imagine, since she’s 14. She only has about a month to break the record. She’ll most definitely get the HS record before she graduates. She’s phenomenal.
I knew someone in high school who was a junior high phenom in track. Broke all sorts of records and by his sophomore year in high school couldn't carry all of his track medals. He even had a nickname "Freak". Then something happened, everyone else finally grew up. By his junior year of high school he became marginally above average. By his senior year he found himself struggling to match his times 2 years prior. He had 1 maybe 2 great outings in his last year. Not knocking the athlete here in this video but 14 year old performance does not equal posterity. Kids change, grow up, bodies change, hormone levels shift. If she elevates her performance through puberty, more power to her and I wish her the best. Hopefully someone is providing just as much counsel emotionally, as they are in her athletic skills. Because when the glory (or rigor) of it all ends, she will need something to keep her going with the rest of her life.
GREAT JOB ARIA! Looks like she did not have to run in the rain 😊 but sad she had to warm up on concrete. KU relays weather is hard on athletes, 40-45 degrees F, wind, overcast and rain.

I'd consider her potentially the next Abby Steiner instead. Abby Steiner has reached far higher than Matthrew Boling probably will too. Too early to tell though.
She keeps improving like this she will be like Knighton and competing in the Olympics before she graduates High School. That young kid actually took 4th place in the 200 meter dash.
Wow running those times at this age is something special. Never heard of this talent until this now but I’m sure there’s so much more to come ! If she status to get into the 22 range for the 200 she could go pro and forget school
What a talented runner and a joy to watch. So many great female track athletes now. Not a track expert but maybe not push so hard in prelims when you don't need to. It's all about conservation of energy
She's fast, I hope she doesn't peak out early. I'm pulling for any youngsters to develop into top talents and whiteys are not the common to be so fast.
