    To the folks who said she shouldn't compete against college girls, _this_ is the alternative.

      And she ran slow times compared to her normal ones too, she was 11.97 and 24.8 when usually she's 11.6 and 23.8

      To those who say she shouldn't compete against college girls probably never competed a day in their lives. In these races those other girls are probably thinking they get to run against Aria and just want to finish. I'm glad she is running against high school and college girls, competing against better athletes gives you the motivation to get better, stronger, and faster.

    You don't see this kind of dominance in life very often. I hope she goes to the Olympics one day but my guess is she'll get a free education at the least.

    Aria Pearce and Mia Peddington's incredible winning performances at the nike nationals was inspiring. They both won the 100 and 200 in their classes.

    Yeah… it’s a waste of her time racing against this level of competition… in the 200 she made up the stagger within the first 60 meters…

    Aria's leg speed is so much faster than the other girls.

    The only thing I can think of that compares to this video is Secretariat's running at The Belmont in 1973. But, in all seriousness, saying that Aria shouldn't be running at college meets is ludicrus. Sure, she may not be winning those races, but she's still beating many of those girls that are competing there and that's why she NEEDS to compete at that level. 6th, 7th & 8th place there does her a lot more good than smoking the field at events in her own age group, in my opinion. Regardless, this will all work itself out in a few years.

    • @PauloMassano
      @PauloMassano ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that is an amazing comparison!! Secretariat was the GOAT

      The only time in the videos on her website where she was 8th, she was 1/3 second behind the u20 400m World Champion, and a Trinidad and Tobago triple national champion. The rest of the field were World sprint finalists, professional runners and a college post doc. She looked disappointed but I felt she did incredibly well to get into the 200m final with such opposition.

    Same age, yes; same abilities, no. I think those other runners will remember the day they raced Ms. Pearce. I remember playing football in high school against a guy that made the pros and I thought it was cool then. I would say the same for those runners mentioned I would hope.

    This looks funny because it looks like the other girls are not running full speed. It is that Aria is just fast and makes the other competitors look slow.

    What the hell?! No offense to the rest, but quickly get her the hell away from that so called competition. If really serious about this. Needs to be pushed. Girls at a high-level that she would be competing against would be in a different environment and wont be running against that type of competition. Have her train on own or at least run against the males at that track meet for the love of god. She’ll start to slack.

    • @dschlopes2734

      She had to compete against girls her own age to get entry into the Junior Olympics : the initial knockout levels are easy for all the girls who will be competing in the finals.

  • @kevrymell6636
    @kevrymell6636 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    For Aria to keep improving she needs to run against better athletes - as you can see here - her own age group is literally no competition, which is why she runs slower. Aria is an exceptional sprinter (at her age) and it seems she is being really well coached.
