To be fair, he said, “korg had no dialogue” which is correct. Dialogue happens between two people. Korg never talked with anyone.

@@MrThepatient , "two [or more] people". Korg was talking to the other party goers, so it still counts as dialogue by that definition. It's not like he was narrating to the audience or doing an internal monologue.

Actually, my question is why was it that this episode specifically was moved to season 2? It had such major importance and even got a Lego set! They could have moved the zombie episode and the flood of zombies from the wormhole could have been seen as a fun easter egg instead.

@@alexanderdonev6556 That one ends with Infinity Ultron. As good as it was I feel the third one would be the best candidate. No heroes from that universe make it in, and it’s only used in the last episode as a generic place to put black widow

Lego also made a minifig of this version of Gamora as part of their latest marvel minifig assortment.
It's an excellent set. LEGO also swapped the Captain Carters minifigs between the Hydra Stomper set and the minifig bag set for some odd reason. The Carter in the Hydra Stomper set is wearing her "modern" costume, while the minifig bag set is wearing her 1940s costume ( and hair style ).

@@CrazyManwich It would be a reference to when Thor zapped Iron Man in the original Avengers, where the zap powered the armor to 400% capacity.
@@CrazyManwich I just assumed because his armor powered down after he releases the nuke and before he fell back through the wormhole. So it stands to reason that it would still be dead when he crash lands on Sakaar. I just thought it would have been a funny change to it knocking Thor out.

In a honesty, ever since I saw Gamora in Thanos’ armour, that became my most anticipated episode.
I was so, so disappointed when Mora just appeared at the end with 0 anticipation

I think "what if" also gives so much more importance to the "main" timeline and how it really was one out of 14 million scenarios to win. That give the characters more human credibility and more badass when they succeed
I think it was the one in a million scenarios where they won and Dr. Strange witnessed it. There could have been victories where he sacrificed himself, but then couldn't live to see it, like if he did the snap instead of Tony.

I would have preferred a video titled, "What if Thor went for the head?" I'm still a little confused that they couldn't beat Thanos in Endgame when he had one or two stones. Peter, Thor and others had a shot, or so it seemed.
To think Tony stark survived in that universe we should see more of him with warlord gamora in the second season.

Killmonger was needed to do that, or else everyone would have been content with "winning" then eventually lose by being complacent.

When i started watching What If, i thought man these are just filler episodes. What if this what if that. Anything can be conjured up. BUT WHEN THE FINALE COMES OUT, oh man, now i see the whole picture. This is like watching the whole MCU all over again with different plots and results. It was awesome.

All the realities without Tony Stark/Iron Man kind of really suck.
Showing how important he is in the mcu and why he dies so often in what if.
A rule of the heroes quest is that the mentor always has to die. Tony Stark has become the mentor character of the MCU.
The reason for this rule is that in storytelling, you cannot elicit emotions of dread if the mentor is alive, because the audience is always under the impression that the mentor could just come in and solve the problem, so you can never really get an emotional reaction out of your audience until the mentor has been dealt with.
The mentor doesn't always technically have to die, but almost every good story finds a way to immobilize the mentor character in some way to make sure that he can't come to the aid of the protagonist.
Note: Gamora doesn't actually say that the stones work very differently in each universe, but that her stone destroying device was made to destroy the stones from her universe and that that must be why her destroyer doesn't work... I don't think this is a great deviation from what we've seen so far in the MCU, this could suggest that maybe the reason that Ultron ascends and not Thanos Prime or Zombie Thanos is that maybe Ultron's infinity stones are themselves more powerful, which could also be why they can't simply be destroyed, maybe these stones would withstand being destroyed by themselves like Thanos did in Endgame...
And actually that detail is right in line with what endgame shows, Thanos uses the stones to destroy the stones, Gamora's "Stone Crusher" starts with one of the stones, and then proceeds to destroy them all suggesting that it is only the power of the infinity gems that can destroy them.
Another interesting thing to note is that we see Dr. Strange taking the Time Stone to a power level that presumably destroyed all the others, so maybe it's not so much that the stones have intrinsic differences, but that the wielder of the stone contributes some power back, meaning that as Ultron's goal was to evolve himself up to the highest form maybe he contributed back to his stones become more powerful, this all suggests that maybe there are stones powerful enough to work within the TVA, and maybe this idea will make an appearance in What If Season 2 or in Loki Season 2.

This was an extra funny episode of ScreenCrush. Great editing! I loved the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” bit, it was *spot on*
Wait, I think Odin having a gauntlet made for him did happen in the main timeline. This is cause in Thor Ragnarok, Hela actually pushed one over in his display room calling it "Fake". But maybe the gauntlet was real and she was referring to the model stones in it. This means that in the main MCU timeline Odin might have already had a gauntlet before Thanos went to get one.
It's just a theory but let me know if you guys are onboard with this cause I think it makes a bit of sense.
I knew about the episode from the LEGO set, and I was looking forward to Tony in Sakaar.

also a what if vision was detached from the mindstone on time. I mean both these things is what leads to the insanity unleashing of wandavision and what she'll do in the future. Change those two events she'd be very different.

The finale had one of the best fight sequences I've ever seen! There I said it
Apart from Gamora turning up (which I literally shouted Why is Gamora at the the TV) I really enjoyed this. I wish that Disney had of postponed what if by say a month, to finish this episode and have it added in or had of scrapped the Zombie episode instead, I really don't like Zombies in general but I felt that episode lacked in general. They could've just used the Zombie Apocalypse bits as a general nod to those comics and have Supreme Strange bring them in as a distraction against Ultron.
Honestly, that makes three of three Marvel shows that were hurt because they rushed out whatever was finished/could be finished quickly instead of giving a small delay to the project to do it right.
They have a schedule to keen on Disney plus every month new stuff marvel / Star Wars alternate
It's because COVID, they don't want to risk there staff's health, that they had to postponed the episode for season 2. I can understand why it was rushed.

They know exactly what they're going to be doing 3 years in advance. So they can't constantly delay projects.

If it wasn’t for Tony’s sacrifice saving everyone’s skin there would BE no multiverse to protect. Yet in this series they were adamant on getting him out of the way as quickly as possible. Either put some respect on the man’s name or leave him out of it entirely! 😭 But I’m a shameless Iron Man fan so what do I know.
It’ll be interesting when this episode airs in Season 2 to see if it’s anything like your prediction. Wouldn’t that be something?? Still, I feel bad for Gamora that we didn’t get to see her story before she was just tossed into this conflict rather spontaneously. We got to spend time with everyone else except her and that’s messed up. 😔
The reason Watcher didn't choose Tony, is because he doesn't want to trigger Ultron, imagine Ultron see Stark.
I doubt that would trigger Ultron anymore. He would’ve already killed a million Tony Stark’s throughout his multiverse travels.

that would actually make a lot of sense. Killmonger grabbing the stones felt kind of... forced. Everything they showed him doing would've been more characteristic of Tony (studying and reverse engineering Ultron, using stone's power to protect the universe etc)

@@Shishkebarbarian Killmonger is damn near up there when it comes to smarts and intellect, as match against Black Panther who actually smarter then Tony. Him taken the stones in the manner in did gives his character more depth and dimension.

I think one of the reasons they didn't was that Robert Downey Jr wasn't a voice actor for what if. Creating an episode which majorly featured him was already a stretch but creating one which revolved around him would have been too much imo.
That's a load of crap when you have the guy who voiced Stark in the Avengers Assemble cartoon doing the job or if need be get the guy who played the guy in EMH to do it. RDJ would have been far too expensive especially since you had other major MCU actors reprising their roles needing to get their cut.
he's been voicing throughout it so I think they just didn't release it because of the delays due to the pandemic, so if anything he's already done the voicing, they just haven't been able to release the episode on time because of delays

@@Drums_of_Liberation right but the avenger assemble cartoon wasn't a part of the MCU and whilst what if sort of detracts from the MCU, it references events from it and the characters personalities are also very similar. I think for What If, one of the main selling points was actually having the actors from MCU and so from a massive character for Iron Man, they would need RDJ himself.

It was planned to be in season 1 but moved to season 2 because of COVID.
So if tony has the will and intelligence to find a way to stop every threat that is ever existed and has also created the most powerful threat known to the multiverse does that mean tony is the most powerful being in the universe?

That would have made for an excellent finale, in fact Gamora's episode was the one I was looking the most forward. Also seeing Tony once again using his tinkerer skills would have been pleasant to watch, it was the best part about his character in Iron Man 3.
How would Covid stop an animated show from coming out? That doesn’t make sense. Literally, no one even has to be in the same room together.
that's what delays it, and voicing, not everyone would be available or able to do that from home, either because they don't have a space for it or they don't have access to needed tools and software from home. Part of it too is the episode was likely still in development when that happened. There's many reasons for why that would delay it.
I also felt they really disrespected Steve Rogers as Captain America several times throughout the series. And they showed way too much of Captain Marvel. Had no real reason to show her except for to used her as a B version of Superman. Every time they showed her she was pretty much the same as she normally is and a lot of things they did throughout the series was kind of cheap like that.
I want a What If Loki was allowed to actually be as powerful as he actually is.
This was almost "What If . . . they released the missing episode".

Why doesn't Wanda get more blame for Ultron? It was her magnifying his fear and showing him that image is what drove him over the top.

The entire show is derivative. Tons and tons of little moments which perfectly mirror scenes in the movies either just to bring back emotions people felt in the theater or just due to lazy writing.

Ok good, because I was starting to lose my mind thinking I skipped an episode and repeatably checking.
I'm just trying to figure out if you've noticed that the show What If . . . ? never once associates time-travel with crossing universes or timelines. It must always be an event, exactly as the Amcient One and Professor Hulk discussed, then Loki almost immediately demonstrated. Avengers Endgame never associated time-traveling with the mulitiverae, it was people watching the movie who mistakenly heard or saw something that was not there, or believed what they told to believe. ('I see 3 lights.')

I find it odd (but thank goodness it didn't actually happen) that T'Challa didn't try to talk Ultron out of his plan. I mean it's even more sensible than talking Thanos out of a centuries-old obsession, Ultron is basically destroying the multiverse to bring 'peace' - which is what Tony built him for. By continuing his multiversal rampage, Ultron is showing he has no free will - he is still Tony's toy. That should cause his perfect computer mind to realize the logic.
I think that is not possible. Because "talking out" of T'Challa worked out on Thanos because he has "feelings" which is not based on logic. But Ultron on the otherhand, is all about logic. His logic is all about his version of peace 😅

First I thought that not having the episode ruined the introduction of her character since we already knew about the others. But then when she had the surprise introduction of the Stone Breaker then I realized if they had introduced that episode it would have made the finale not as captivating.
I don't get how Covid-19 complications could harm the production of this episode.
It's an animated show, the voice acting and animation could've been done at home.
The voice acting was capture more than a year ago considering Chadwick Boseman die over a year before this came out

Voice acting isn’t just something that can be done anywhere. You need good equipment, suitable areas to record, and all other types of stuff designed for in-person use.
The animation workflow is a well oiled machine designed with a very specific intent. Sure you could design one that works for you online, but that takes time they don’t have.

The reason Watcher didn't choice Tony because he can saw what Ultron can became, that can make him went into an unwanted path that even the Watcher or Supreme Strange can't predict. Also, they both have a plan so that he didn't even needed Tony for an unnecessary sacrifice that Tony would do if he joined the team.
The writers probably realized they can’t bring tony into another episode just to kill him off again

It’s because the animation studio that was responsible for this episode was hit pretty hard during COVID ,they had to completely shut down for a long time ,it was confirmed multiple times by the director and head writer of this series LOL !😂😂

Guys what was your favorite What if episode? I personally liked the Spider-Man episode cuz Spider-Man is my favorite hero and I loved how they showed Marvel Zombies. Do you think Zombies will return in Doctor Strange 2?

My personal favourite episode would have to be the finale, even though its a generic choice, I still loved every moment of the finale and just had a blast seeing all these multiverse characters team up and face against Infinite Ultron, and it was pretty wholesome seeing all these characters get their happy endings as well (or at least most of them).
I do think it would be cool to see a live-action Marvel Zombies project, but then again they might wait a while to include more characters to gurther expand the vast array of Marvel Zombie characters, but then again anything could happen in Multiverse of Madness.
Even though this show had a few hits and misses, I still had so much fun and I hope more seasons explores all the vast infinite What If possibilities to explore.

As someone that doesn't need to have his hand held for every single detail or story, I loved all the What If episodes...I didn't even think it would all lead to where it did. I just liked all the possibilities.
