It's actually the disk type that factors into brake clearance. Offset won't affect your brake clearance at all. Only fender and strut tower clearance, in relation to wheel width and diameters. It's a common misconception. Every car is different the way the brake disc, hub, calipers are set up so it's hard to suggest a disk type (SSR will help you with this).
