Good video and nice riding! I was just introduced to this trail recently - so fun!! I did it on my gravel bike. Right now, the top part is a little loose and chunky, but the bottom section is awesome. The only part I didn't ride is the steep pitch right after the switchback before the bridge. It caught me by surprise as I came around the turn, and I played it safe. It was a bit more sketchy than how it looks in this video. Cheers!
I would just use the Brand motorway. The barricade at the bottom of Brand Motorway have been moved slightly to the side by someone. I have seen and met several people biking and walking up and down there since it became closed. Around 3/4 up the trail there are some rock slides that covers it. It's already a path over the largest one. The other rock slides have only left a few big rocks here and there. Edit : fixed a few of my typos
It's a pretty easy trail for most MTBer's. The only challenge is from 2:20 - 2:38 in the video. That is the section of trail that washed away years ago and it's been very narrow ever since. If you are not up for riding it, you can walk the bike. Hope this helps!

Dude that is like half my time, lol 😂
Ha! It's running really good right now. I'm sure you could get a faster time!
where you park and climb up? The Brand motorway is closed.

would this be safe for a person with a regular amount of bicycle experience to attempt? Kinda new to the area thinking about getting a bike.

Is this in La Crescenta?
It’s above Burbank on the front side of the Verdugo Mountains.
