100% Pain remains trilogy with lyrics on
I'm starting to see a trend in the comments recommendations 😁👍
@@melvinthinks yes, yes! Pain remains trilogy for sure.
@@melvinthinkspatiently waiting for that. I’ll def subscribe for that content.
I recorded it this weekend. Unfortunately I have to wait 30 days for the label to release the content ID claim so expect to see the video in April 👍 Blew me away!
@@melvinthinks heck yeah dude🤟 i'll be eagerly waiting for that vid
1st time i heard it.. "hmm a bit much for me" 5 days later on instant repeat. And i still listen to it.
I was kind of the same. This was the first thing I heard from Lorna Shore. Didn't know if I was into or not. I think I've heard the Pain Remains album... I don't know how many times now! 😆
There is a Will Ramos vocal one take video for this song. Usually listed as deathcore, but do use black and death metal. Not what I usually listen too, but a once in a while listen for me, probably because there is some melody to it. "Pig being butchered" lol , those are referred to as pig squeals 😁.
Their "Pain Remains" trilogy usually gets recommended a lot. "And I Return to Nothingness" and "Sun/Eater" also.
Hey Chris. I was tempted to use that video, but I decided against it because I'd be focusing way too much on Will as opposed to analysing the entire band. Especially as a first listen to them. But I do want to watch it at some point. Thanks for the recommendations too - I'll make some notes as I defo want to hear some more 👍
There were no pig squeals in the song, though.
@@spitz5183lol Will literally just put out a video analyzing his own one take and mentions pig squeals multiple times
@@EnergeticxCheese My point is, there are no pig squeals in the song. Pig squeals are "breeee", which Will never does in the song. If he thinks he did, then he's wrong.
yep, that's just his voice. there's some standard layering of vocal tracks to fill it out a bit (and in a couple sections to layer highs and lows together) and a slight low-fi filter in the beginning, but that is in fact all him. including switching from high to low very quickly. his range AND agility are stunning.
It's not the sort of metal I regularly listen to, but all round I was generally impressed. And from the comments I've read so far, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Regardless of whether you are in to it or not, you can't deny the vocal is pretty amazing.
Now you’ve done it!
Now you have to react to the Pain Remains Trilogy.
I'm definitely gonna need some snacks for that one
@@melvinthinks grab some tissues too, bro.
Didn't know it was that kind of video. I'll have to start an onlyfans account.
@@melvinthinks 😂
Keep your hanky handy.

Wow, this is amazing timing. I literally just came from Will's channel where he was doing a live stream, breaking down this very song on the one-take he did. He has recently been reacting to different vocalists on his channel and after many requests he finally reacted to his own video. Definitely worth a watch, he goes in pretty deep on the techniques, etc.
That's super cool. I've kind of refrained from watching any of his own analysis and one take vocal videos because I wanted to make my own reaction video first, but now the floodgates have been opened, I definitely wanna explore more of him and this band.
You mentioned earlier in the video how if he actually sang like that he had a demon in him. If you haven't heard them before id recommend viking by slaughter to prevail. They are not as melodic as lorna shire however vocal wise demons go to alex terrible for vocal training.
Cheers dude! Much appreciated 👍
Pain Remains trilogy is definitely worth a watch. It is Death metal that makes you cry which is why its usually suggested. Its very well done and the video production is top tier for a music video.
Also as another had mentioned you spoke of inner demon. Highly reccomend Viking by Slaughter To Prevail. Alex Terrible has insane lows and growls commonly reffered to as being like a bear or alligator. The band is incredibly talented as well.
With either Will or Alex both have demonstrated numerous times that they can do all the crazy sounds naturally. And with the mention of The Charismatic Voice I am sure you have seen where she had Will come in and the stuck the camera down his throat to see how he made the sounds. Would love to see the same with Alex.
Finally note. Though they both sound like demons on stage Will and Alex are two of the nicest people you could ever meet.
Cheers buddy. I did contemplate the trilogy as my first experience of Lorna Shore, but it'd be a lot to take in! You've pretty much sold it to me in your narrative though 👍
Will does seem really cool and a proper nice bloke. I know nothing about Alex and his band, but I'm also intrigued by the alligator and bear similarities!
Loved the genuineness of your reaction, this band and this song are relentless and hit so hard it throws people off. Lorna Shore are monsters of men! Subbing to see you react to the whole of the Pain Remains Trilogy with the lyrics on! Also for the album recommendation, To The Hell Fire EP and Pain Remains the album.
Thanks for the kind words and joining the family 😄 The Trilogy is definitely gonna happen. Got a fair few videos already scheduled but watch this space...
Planet Terror poster in the background is an instant sub from me dawg. and the song aswell, this band is awesome!
Haha! Cheers dude and welcome to the fam 👍 Genuinely didn't know what to expect from Lorna Shore, but I'm definitely doing more.
I really appreciate you reacting to my go to karaoke song. Goes down a storm at the bowling club.
I actually laughed and did a little snort when I read this! 😂
I like the very bouncy man, he seems chill
If by the "bouncy man" you mean me, then yes, I do move quite a lot during my reactions 😂 Some people like it. A lot of people don't. But if the music hits me, then I'm grooving, baby!
Musicianship and vocals to the max!
Pain remains trilogy next please ( with lyrics) ,you will ,,feel,, this
I've been told I need tissues in case I cry!
@@melvinthinks yep!
Subscribing in hopes of the Pain Remains trilogy! Definitely recommend lyrics!
Definitely on the cards! Thanks for subbing. Buckle up and enjoy the ride 😁
Congratulations, you survived their badest track ;)
for real, after they first released this when Will Ramos entered the band, everything after this will blow your mind. they come with more melody, more symphonic elements, heavy usage of choirs and without anymore pig-gets-butchered sounds :)
"...and i return to nothingness" came after this, and brought me to this band. just saw them live a few weeks ago and it was a very good show ... can´t wait for a new album here, because their last album is a 10/10 for me, no songs to skip ... this is rare
When you say "Baddest track" are you talking "good bad" or "bad bad" ? 🤣 If it's "bad bad" and all your promises are true, then I'm in for some spectacular journey 🤟🤟🤟
@@melvinthinks i choose that one that will make you react to more ;)
for sure, their music is layered in so many different elements...
their release list ( if you want to follow this) goes like this:
...and i return to nothingness (same EP as "to the hellfire)
Sun//Eater (album)
Into the earth (album)
Cursed to die (album)
Pain Remains Trilogy (album)
of the abyss ( EP )
Welcome back, o´sleeping dreamer (album)
all as musicvideos
Will Ramos throws some one take vocal playthroughs on his own channel into the ring, worth checking out all vocal videos so far
have fun discovering Lorna Shore !
Song is a anthem for deathcore. Not their best song by far. It’s absolutely a fantastic track. Of the abyss / immortal/ fveneral moon are my favorites by them but all are excellent
@@melvinthinks This is a ridiculous song, but not as crazy as Welcome Back, O' Sleeping Dreamer, and as far as Lorna Shore goes since Will Ramos joined, this song is actually in the bottom half of the 13 songs they've done with him in my opinion.
"Drenched in reverb"...subscription granted
I'm honoured that you approve. It rolls off the tongue really nicely.
Definitely the 'And l Return to Nothingness' EP!!! Of the Abyss is my personal favourite song. Also the Will Ramos' one take vocal videos are so cool since he is one of the most talented metal vocalists. You will be amazed when you see these vocals performed in real time.
I was tempted to use one of those vids as my first experience, but I thought it would place too much of my attention on Will and not the rest of the band. But now I'm in, I can open up the can of worms 😄
Just gonna say that Vitriol track that popped up at the end fucking slaps, you'll like that one if you like death metal
Will Ramos did a 3 song EP when he joined the band recently and then they’ve done the Pain Remains album. I would recommend any of those. The Austin Archey drum playthroughs with meinl cymbals are fun to watch. Into the earth is a good one or welcome back sleeping dreamer
Already done the Pain Remains Trilogy - check it out!
pain remain and sun eater
Definitely the Pain Remains album first. The other 2 songs from the EP with To the Hellfire are great as well. 2nd would be the Immortal album. Different vocalist but still a really good album. Death Portrait is my favorite from it.
You should see his To The Hellfire one take vocal cover on his main channel (The Will Ramos)
Will Ramos actually has a very good soft voice to go with his harsh vocals.
I definitely get that vibe, just from hearing him in interviews and stuff.
His clean vocals are amazing. After you’ve listened to more with him in Lorna Shore, check out his cover of Sleep Token’s Chokehold.
The pain remains trilogy will break you .. better have the tissues ready!
Watch this space, Keith...
this is there most popular but not best imo into the earth is the best for me
And this is why the fan recommendations are always welcome 😁
Pain remains album❤️
It is THE album made with Will as lead singer
I know everyone's been commenting this, but one more time, Pain Remains Trilogy 😈🔥😎
I don't mind, mate. Just shows what the people want and feel I would be most interested in 👍
Check out all of his one take videos
Give the band 'Face Yourself' a go. They have a female vocalist who some people compare with Will. Her name is Yasmine and she is a genuine beastess.
Sounds ace!!!
If you like the symhonic elements I would suggest to listen to the band Shadow Of Intent and their song "From Ruin... We Rise" the vocalist in this band is also nuts
Cheers dude. Can never have too many recommendations 😁
Funnily enough, doing these kind of vocals doesn't hurt his throat 🤣 you should check out Will Ramos cover of chokehold by sleep token
There's definitely a technique to it. Some people nievely think vocalists in this type of genre just scream and make a noise. But if they want any sort of longevity then it has to be done right.
Everyone is saying Pain Remains trilogy and for good reason. However I recommend checking out (after PR) the album Immortal seeing as you asked which album. It's their prior but also impressive vocalist.
Total side note, you recommended I check out Red Fang on one of your Baroness videos. I since have and they're now in my rotation, really decent band!
Ahhh that's awesome Nick! As much as this channel is clearly about me listening and reacting to new music recommended by you wonderful people, I actually think I get even more of a buzz when I turn you lot on to something new. Mission accomplished 😁 This comment has proper made my evening. Cheers dude 👍
Ramos have done several "one take" videos on their songs ;>
Thank you and yes, I am aware 😁 My next video for Lorna Shore will be the Pain Remains Trilogy, but I am not opposed to a Will one-take reaction in the future 👍
One song you should check out is "Dying Light" by a band called Orphan. Its ridiculously brutal!
Nice one! My song list gets bigger by the day 👍
Well, you should finish off this EP first, so "Of The Abyss" next, which is their best single song in my opinion, and then "...And I Return To Nothingness", then you can do the Pain Remains LP.
There are music videos for all of the songs off this EP and the Pain Remains LP is 10 tracks and 7 of them have videos. Pretty unheard of in the metal world, especially considering all the songs are at or over 5 minutes.
Both the EP and the LP are concept albums, so I think it is important to listen to them in order. Especially cause people always beg for the Pain Remains Trilogy, which caps off/ends the Pain Remains LP in a grand, 20-minute, 3-part, epic piece, but the music videos aren't actually what the song/album is about, and it's like starting a movie for the first time at the beginning of the third act. Don't get me wrong, it hits, but not as good as if you have everything leading up to it.
Cheers! 🤟🤟🤟
Lovely reaction! Do you think you could react to body and blood by ghost?
Thank you 🙏 I'll never say never 😁 Am definitely going to do the Pain Remains Trilogy next, in one single video (due to viewer demand/poll). From the comments I've read, it's going to be an emotional rollercoaster so am trying to mentally prepare myself in advance. I'm highly looking forward to it.
my man.... pain remains trilogy. but bring the lyrics and a tissue
The Lorna Shore army are proper building up the anticipation for this trilogy. I love it already and I haven't even heard it! 😂
Try Carach Angren "When Crows Tick On Windows"... 😉
Erm...
@@melvinthinks Scared? 👻🤣
Yes. I won't lie.
Not my pint of beer, musically - and I like some death metal at times - but this dude is doing amazing harsh vocals.
"Not my pint of beer". I love that 😂 But yeah, I guess it is a bit Marmite. I'm definitely gonna listen to some more. The Pain Remains Trilogy sounds promising and pretty epic. Based on the comments posted so far 🤞
@@melvinthinks Feel free to use it :D
I will. And you'll get the credit if I use it in a video 😄
Hopefully the day will come and you will react to Infant Annihilator
Hadn't heard of them tbh. From Yorkshire, right?
Reaccion one take will ramos
Definitely one day, for sure 👍
I'm gonna start using dodge instead of pause
Erm
Fuck me! This is "juicy"... WTF did I just hear. Fucking hell.
Great band and track.
"Pig being butchered?" Sounds to me like someone hugging the toilet after a much too long, and much too heavy, bender. I did like the guitar solo, even if it was a bit shreddy.
🤣😁🤣 The sweep picking in the guitar solo is pretty sweet. It's one of those techniques that can sound a bit cliché but they've used it sparingly and tastefully in my opinion.
