I respectfully submit that this game doesn't need more weapons. It needs more map space for exploration and more storyline quests. There are three islands that are currently unused and are completely blacked out at night. The developers need to produce new DLCs which open up those islands.
I feel it needs weapons with different ammo that is strong as the 7.62 and the .50 BMG because as of now those are the top teir ammos and once you get experimental weapons nothing else is worth it
@@alexandercorvenus1268 I very much agree with you that once you get experimentals, the others aren't worth consistently carrying. I currently use four experimentals; the AG4, Kvm59, Pvg 90 and the Grg m/49, with the RLG 7 as backup. I haven't used pistols, shotguns, bolt action rifles, or the Kotenok since around level ten or so. Actually, I've seen almost no five crown versions of these anyway. The primary reason why I'm opposed to new weaponry is that the extra weapons added into the random mix will make it even less likely that players looking for experimentals will get them. This is why I purchased the US and Soviet Weapons Packs with the game, but have not purchased the US Weapons pack 2. ONE weapon SYSTEM I'd love to see is- at great investment of both time and resources- the ability to operate one of the armored vehicles in the game. The devs could provide an NPC crew, and the player would be required to obtain resources to repair and operate the vehicle. That said, for players who have maxed out their skill levels, the game needs new world space for exploration very badly and new quests almost as much. Once the main story line ends and you have explored the existing map, it begins to degenerate into a base- building, arcade shooter in which repeatedly destroying waves of machines is supposed to be a thing. This game has FAR greater potential than that. The map, special effects and background music are all first class and make for an immersive world. More than anything else first, the game needs a reason to immerse the player- and nothing does that better than new areas to explore and a continuing story line to "place" the player there. Part of me says I should move on to other games, but I'm waiting for the respec due out soon. And this world... it draws me to this game like a lightning rod. Instead of the devs re- doing the existing map, I so wish that they'd spend that time filling out ALL of the islands with areas to explore and machines. But this is all just me. Cheers...
@@alexandercorvenus1268 the, 9.99m or whatever it was for that one dlc weapon is surprisingly strong due to firing speed, i can take out fnix hunter out kinda fast with it,
@@Leostar-Regalius yea but I dont go for hunters im going for big machines so rather than swapping guns ill just use the experimental that uses 7.62 for big med and small with little bonus rather than use a base gun with only ballistic damage.

A flamethrower is not a bad idea to use on a machine since heat cause lots of problems to electronics and melt wires. Drawn back is this would take time to so you wouldn't want to be the one holding it.
Flare Arrows stick on full charge pull, and are weak do to the wooden shaft, and should be aluminum or fiberglass as a compound bow or stronger would destroy the arrow on impact.
i realise that your refering to game mechanics wise for bow power because many games super charge the power of a bow but 95 % of bows irl cant penetrate military grade steel armor from what ive gathered trhough the various updates the devs are looking for smi realism ie bullet drop weather effecting enemy and yoru visability and other odds and ends i think the bow was meant to be more of a gimick weapon then anything but a fun one so im not dissapotted and i wont be once i try out the weapon pack if i get it
flamethrower is useful for taking out ticks and dogs(runners) and doing some damage to hunters, the bow is pretty good with explosive arrows, but take your wood which is used for base building, the pitchfork, I'm not much of a melee user
..must say I'm very disappointed with this DLC. First. 3 crown pitchfork do way more damage than huge 5 crown Hammer. which is ridiculous. Second. Developers must reduce Stamina drain by 250% minimum. Especially if you unlocked at least 1 stamina perk and now with weapons that drain stamina almost instantly. Third. ..what's the point of the Bow? Regular arrows are absolutely useless. Explosive arrows dmg per shot is equivalent to experimental shotgun blast. which is very sad and only semi useful thing are Flare arrows even regular Flare was ok without it. Only thing worth DLC money is the Flamethrower. but I wouldn't be surprised if they nerf it in the close future. ..it's really frustrating knowing that this is my first bad thing I ever said about this game.
Sorry but these new weapons packs they keep putting out add absolutely nothing to the game in my eyes. I am bored shitless with farming machines. Without new areas to explore and a massive new story line the game is just boring as hell now and I have been playing since release
Gotta agree. Bored now. Not impressed with base defence. Time for new islands, new areas underground, explanation for all the South Coast power lines that disappear under water.
I agree i got a stealth build i use the bow its more of a tool than a weapion flare arrows i use to distract machines and get them to shoot each other explosive arrows I use to blow up cars and power boxes on houses just like the exp shotgun works very well
@@MorteWulfe yeah, overheating, melting, fusing half molten parts together to the point they can't move anymore, flamethrowers can wreak havoc on machinery if they're hot enough

i haven't played since the wepon wheel. i don't like that the fire select button has moved from the right bumper . would have been better for the wheel to be on the D pad. i play on xbox
Seriously? What a crap load of weapons! Sure, ok we’ve used them all before in other games against human or zombie enemies, but against machines WTF? Give us some decent weapons that deal real damage. What about a chainsaw with tungsten teeth? Or Saws as used by firemen to cut through metal? A handheld plasma or laser cutter? Stuff used to cut through metal! I bought this pack but only to support the Devs, but doubt I’ll use these shit weapons, the pitchfork for example how satisfying is it to try and spear a machine 😡 wish they’d give us something decent, they did a great job on most of the experimental weapons but everything since has been pretty much rubbish. They pretty much nerfed the rocket launchers and you might as well fart on the robots as shoot them with those. But thanks for reporting on the DLC anyways mate, your videos are always entertaining but I just had to call a reality check on what they think we should have 😜👍🏼
This game really doesn't need more weapon dlc you have you buy like ive said before it really sucks ehen you gotta buy mody weapons that are in a dlc pack and it feels scummy like they should at least give us some more free weapons
Naah didnt use them... exp glock/50cal/recouless launcher/ and that what shoots burning bullets :D all that u need... as i get glock with electric bullets. Its just owe the game! 50 cal for reaper! just runnning and killin everything.

Purchased the set to support the devs, the bow became quiet handy in early game before upping my equipment, so I’d say YES.
The bow is by far the best stealth weapon
All this is nice but I still want more levels. 31 is great but it's not enough to get the cool stuff. At least give us a respec option.

Bought the DLC us weapon pack and all my guns disappeared and can't get them back why
New update did something I can’t invite nobody says the lobby is full can’t join anybody els? On console.
I got a question I got some dlcs for generation zero but I can’t use none of them

We should get some lever actions and a revolver, one rifle in .44, and the other rifle and the revolver in .357 Magnum.
