The kid with his dog were the two smartest mammals at the ramp that day. 😜
that made my day!
So trueeee
Young dude with the "$30k$" homemade boat probably had more fun than anyone. Gotta give him props. 💪🏻
Lol.. 300 bucks maybe..Worth every penny
Give him some props and he'll have himself a plane.
100% agree...no debt and the dog with the lifejacket.
Love his rig. The Tacoma load extender as a casting platform, the pup along for the ride, can’t beat it
Airplane props?
The real MVP is the homie who untied the stern line at the end!
I don't think they even saw him do it lol
@@peterpeter-rn8qz My guess is the cleat pops off first . . .
I think that was the guy who had the stand-off with another boater a couple of videos back.
@@paulayala4816 Yes he’s been in a few videos now. The last incident him and the other boater gave each other a fist bump at the end of their dispute, which was mad respectful!
It's a redemption arc. And people out here saying Miami Boat Ramps videos have no interesting story or plot... smh
Guy at the end in the turquoise boat must be one cool guy. He's gotten ramp blocked and hassled for no reason a few times in recent videos and still willing to help someone out unsolicited. Good job!
Teal boat dude becoming a local celebrity
“No lowball offers, I know what I got!” Yeah that made me spit out my water, you owe me a new keyboard Mr. Guru.
It wasn't that funny
And, the guy who buys it, will be wondering later, "why is the bed on this truck rusting out?"
Was it salt water?
@@danocean5826it's Miami. Yes.
Can't be mocked for not knowing how to back up a trailer is you ain't got no trailer. Smart!
Exactly
My thoughts exactly
There’s a big difference in backing a bigger boat trailer and a jet ski trailer
@Ross Outdoors keep thinking that. Rinsing helps but not a problem solver.
I’m conflicted, bikinis or a truck up to it’s axle... and bikinis for the win.
yeah i barely noticed the truck in water with that scene. LOL!!!
She was a site to see.
Love that red bikini bottom.
Damn y’all down bad
Truck?
I absolutely love that you've made a whole channel out of this. I think I'll start one called "Roundabout Idiots" highlighting the horrible drivers in my area.
Great idea, come to Georgia, you would get a ton of footage
Hell yeah! We definitely need roundabout idiots channel.
I once was riding with a guy and he was bragging about his Charger and then he sideswiped somebody entering the roundabout!
I've got a new roundabout in my subdivision that everyone's still trying to figure out. 🤣
Go for it. I'd watch
The Villages?
Every time I think I paid too much for my boat slip in Miami, I watch this, and realize it was a bargain.
Can I use your slip?
Best thirty grand boat I've ever seen! A boy and his dog building memories that will last a lifetime.
I'm a mechanic at a Ford dealership. I currently have three F-150 rear axles torn apart and waiting on parts. All of them have one thing in common... Diff oil was full of water, and the Owners say they submerge the axles when they launch their boats. I would say don't do it, but.... Then I wouldn't be buried in gravy rear end rebuilds and making bank off idiot-taxes.
5:28 Sorry Bronc, nobody is paying attention to the truck
What truck?
What ocean?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
😎🍺
Exactly
This channel is a constant reminder that wealth doesn’t mean intelligence
Definitely getting water inside that rear-diff. That vent hose isn’t very long nor high. Not mention brake lines rusting up
A new set of rotors ain't cheap, neither.
No, the vent tube would not be submerged in this situation. The rear half of the frame would have to be totally submerged and as it is, only the very ends of the frame are submerged.
@@publiusvalerius8934 he doesn't need new rotors lol
typical floridian
The whole bed will be rusting out next year.
5:30 I know what my approach would look like. Great video..
I've always said never buy a boat from Florida....but now I'll say never buy a boat or a truck from Florida !!!.
I'm glad you weren't around when I launched the first boat I bought. I didn't know a roller trailer was a thing - only had ever encountered bunk trailers prior. I can still hear the "ohhs" from the spectators, 25 years later.
Teal boat guy should be the mascot of the channel.
I live in Hawaii and have a 26 foot with twin Yamaha 150 hp. I have never seen so many inexperienced boaters as you show trying to launch and retrieve their boats. No wonder why we end up having to take these eight hour Coast Guard video exams. I never use the steering wheel docking or loading the boat on trailer, I have twin engines. Steer your boat with your throttles! You master this and you will always get your boat home if you lose steering. Never completely submerge your center trailer boards, that's what will center your boat on the trailer. Drive your boat onto the trailer, allow the center boards to knock you in the groove and be patient. Once in the groove, steadily add power until the boat begins to move up the trailer. Only add additional power to maintain forward moment as needed (never floor it!!) until you gently bump the roller on your wench. When hitting the roller maintain throttle to hold it on the roller and slowly back the power off. Boom bada bing!! Alittle patient practice and it will make your life easy. I launch this boat all the time by myself and do not tie up the dock. Before you launch decide which dock you are going to tie to and get your bumpers and lines rigged. Never launch (especially at low tide) with a two wheel drive. I have an F350 4x4 that I clutch in 1st gear and brake the boat down the ramp (my boat weighs more than the truck with no trailer brakes as they don't lie salt water) in 4x4 until I see the rear of the boat float. Get out of truck unhook boat from trailer (front portion of trailer will keep boat from floating away), get on boat lower and start engines, check engines that they are pissing water, staighten engines, put both engines in reverse and give a burst of power to pull boat off trailer. Drive trailer to the chosen dock and tie off, then go park trailer. Tada! Common sense goes along way. DO NOT TIE UP THE DOCK SPACE! HELP OTHERS AND BE CURTIOUS! Aloha.......................
Good for you
Maybe f-250 guy is the only guy at the ramp that is aware of the fact he can't back up a trailer. Not a money thing but this way is less embarrassing for him 🤣🤣🤣
30 grand that boy got a hell of a deal!
That guy's going to watch this video and think "Oh I get it. The paddle board strapped to the trailer made it float. I never thought of that before."
These make me feel better about my life and decisions..
MVP is the fella at the end getting the dock line untied! Hats off to you Sir!
your narration always cracks me up
Boat ramps are always entertaining
I was watching the chick's on the other boat while whatever it was the guy was doing with the F250.
What F250?
Red bikini bottom
I didn't see any F250
More power to the kid and the doggo living their best lives.
That truck with the RIB is leased I bet.
I really despise the term you used for dog. It’s neither cute nor endearing please discontinue
He’ll have great memories of the time he spent on the water with his dog.
I’m 79 and I think of all the things I did as a kid.
You don’t think much about them when you’re a kid, but the older you get, the more you cherish and appreciate those memories!
@@chunkybuttz844 Many people use that term. You'll hear it again.
Twelve loops around the cleat for the floating trailer guy. Protection against the next hurricane I guess.
If you can't tie a knot, tie a lot ...
That Ford is coated very well. A quick spray off when he leaves is good enough. I do laugh at the stickers on the back though.
It is fun to laugh at people at the boat ramp...that being said I am glad there was no one around filming me when I was 16 backing my first boat down or picking it up. One launch of mine included an unexpected swim to retrieve my boat.
So that was you... we have video
He doesn't even need a trailer. Just one extra set of hands.
trailors cheaper
7:45 "Let's just dump out this water" 7:48 "Who left 1/10 of a sip in this water?"
My father used to tell me as a boy that unless people are at risk of injury, or death, when life is teaching the inattentive and the ignorant valuable lessons, it’s best not to interfere.
He will end up filling the rear axle with water through the axle vent, then replacing axle bearings.
That’s how I did it with my jet ski. Ran vent up behind the cab between the bed
I'd go to the bottom of the center caps on the wheels and that is it. The vent for the rear end is awfully close to being submerged on this one, and it looks like a recipe for how to have your tailgate rot out in a hurry.
nah, the vent tube should be up on the frame, about where he submerged to lol
I dont want my wheels in the water period.
@@erikcapozzi3425 That would be my preference too.
@@erikcapozzi3425 my rule is, no part of my truck goes into salt water when I am launching my boat. If it does, your trailer is set up wrong.
@@ralphholiman7401 yep...I agree, we have a few steep ramps where I will get my tires down but I do not like any water to come anywhere near the axle tubes or brakes.
Love the rig at 2:09 kids gotta sweet casting platform from a Tacoma load extender
Razor sharp video in 4k - amazing quality - thanks.
What f-250 truck, axle what? Did I miss something?
I put a foot and a half long chain with a hook on. I would stop the trailor short and drive up the trailor. Hook up the winch and crank until I could hook it. Tilt up and drive onto the flat to finish cranking it up. It self levels. Works great when there's bad waves or wind and tide.
That little pom pom got so excited to see the blue it was so cute
Green boat guy needs his own merch!!!
best show ever
"No low ball offers, I know what I got" Nice lol
The rig with the dog is GREAT
That guys is crazy for backing that truck in the water. What a nut case. He doesn't wanna be embarrassed on backing up a trailer. Lol
That guy with the SuperDuty totally could afford a trailer if he owns that truck but would rather "save money" buy destroying his differential by flooding it with saltwater ruining the fluid, in turn destroying the gearset. Plus the whole submerging the entire rearhalf of the truck in saltwater is great for rust prevention and really helps the brake calipers and electronic sensors do their job!
Truck looks like it is more then 20 years old. Thing is probably on its last life already.
I really doubt he submerged the diff above the vent which is on a hose. The destroying is from the salt water entering inside the body panels.
Two year leased truck?
@@sleddarcheddar Agree a couple launches in salt water isn't anything compared to road salt for 3 or more months in the rest of the country. cant wash your truck when its 10 degrees outside for a couple months.
@@dustyak79 what? I wash my truck in the winter all the time.
Never thought a board like that would float half a trailer.
I was too distracted by the red bikini to even notice the truck pulling down the ramp.
lol
Good thing I wasn't narrating... I would have never seen that F250
You got that right
We spray trucks like that all winter long with salt up here in the north east, they get rusty... it is what it is. As long as the vent for the axle is staying out of the water and dude hits the car wash once in a while it isn't going to matter. Honestly, that looks easier than dealing with a small trailer to haul around an 8 foot 200 pound puddle jumper.
I always pre-medicate with xanax 30 minutes before watching this channel. The anxiety is too much for my nerves to handle.
I tapped the thumbs up 👍 button to feed the algorithm monsters.
8:00 That was the guy who got in the double standoff a couple episodes ago I’m glad he was able to redeem himself 👍
Maybe he watches this channel lol
The guy who through in the line at the end is proof that real heroes don't wear capes. lol.
Just from watching a ton of your videos, I have to say that the best thing they need at this dock is people to direct and help with traffic and loading. Also, backing any vehicle with a trailer, the less you turn your tires, the better. Small movements of the wheel make large moves of the trailer.
Me either. I watched a neighbor back his trailer in one day. Single axle, took him 45 minutes. He eventually unhooked, grabbed it, and walked it in.
@Bob Watters I guess. But I would never do that. Parents never showed me, so I learned from the company I hired in with during the oil spill in 2010. They were great. I normally don't hate on people, but some people need the criticism.
We used a ramp that necessitated submerging the rear wheels half way, spraying everything with fresh water helps. The drum brakes on the trailer were the biggest problem.
I was at a ramp one day, and saw a guy launching his boat. He had forgotten a strap that went all the way across the stern of his boat and hooked on both sides of his trailer. he backed it up 3 or 4 times, slamming it harder each time. Couldn't figure why it wasn't floating off his trailer. When I told him he left his strap on, he got mad at *me* lol.
and if you didn't tell him, he would have also been mad at you for not telling him. one of those guys
That jet ski paddle board trailer guy…3000 loops around the cleat…lol
Thanks for keeping the shot of the boat in front of the truck that had the inflatable
I couldn't imaging sitting at a boat launch every day recording folks, that's just me though let me know what you think! 😆
I bet you cool when you see the TH-cam money.
I agree.... GET a life...
I was more interested in the girl folding the float 5:55 instead of the guy washing his truck bed.
but, the cute doggie . ..
Please get a camera at the Burt Reynolds park boat ramp in Jupiter people keep dropping their boats in before it’s in the water it’s cursed 😂
lol I saw these guys at Waterway Park last weekend, looks like they made it up to Jup! Didn't even know this was a channel until I asked, and now I can't stop watching heh
Great view of the pickup!
"Florida man"
That says it all... without saying it.
"Florida"
Look how caught off guard the pelican was 😂
Another great video! After watching your channel, I will NEVER again buy a used truck or boat, ever! Lol
@5:30, this is an interesting one…..sure is!!
That lady did a good job folding up the tarp.
Are there buoys marking the sand Bar?
Hahaha you were so right about that trailer floating.
It's almost like he's psychic!!! Or it's because he made the video so he saw it before putting his voice over it.
You said something about a guy launching a boat out of a Ford truck but I never did see that. It's like something else was drawing my attention 🤣
Keep these videos coming!
Some people dont know how much damage salt water does to a car.
Anyone in the north does. It’s called road salt in winter. And it’s a lot more concentrated than seawater, too!
Or even a trailer. I park my boat trailer over a lawn sprinkler every time after I launch or retrieve my boat and let it hose the salt water off of all of it. Makes the springs last a lot longer.
The F250 guy is NUTS!!! The rear end if its sealed with proper venting
meaning the vent lines go above the water line should be OK. But I'd say the F250 guy is the type that buys a $250,000 RV the stops at Harbor Freight to get a TowBar for his Saturn to pull behind it.
I thought maybe he was launching the paddle board 🤣
Well, IQ is alwayz "Mind Blowing" at this ramp...BUT, guy in truck?? he can do whatever....2 Mermaidz caught my, and everybody else attention🍺
Good job Bronco 👏
Not a problem for nutters. The breather on top of the rear axle will let the water in which will then mix with the lubricants and eventually ruin the seals and bearings in the axle hubs and diff if it's rear drive not to mention the CV joints if it's a four WDrive. Not to mention the parking brake cables and linkages.
I imagine the guy with the F-250 filled the axle tubes with water. It'll need new bearings and seals for sure.
5:45. what type of boat is the center console with the girls on it?
“Don’t low ball me I know what I got” 😂😂😂
Salt Truck
@ MBR your comment (7:09) on Salt Water is spot on.
We put our ‘95 wave raider in the back of the truck so we can tow our boat too. But we barely go to the tire and put it in with 3 guys. To put it back we get 5 guys and lift it into the truck
Hero of the day at 8:06 !!!
I'd recommend Mike Sanders. And an air pressurization system for the diff.
Are sandbars not well marked in the us? We have great channel markers virtually everywhere
5:30 to 6:01 I like big boats and I can not lie!😉
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
7:30 was doing this for years in an old beater tacoma, maybe the truck was a hammy down. honestly if you're changing out the dif oil once or twice a year it's not really a big deal for the axle to be submerged for a minute or two. i sprayed my entire rear end with wd40 once a month and and change the dif oil every other month. no issues. im a cheap man with a cheap boat, no trailor. now i do have a trailor and it's the same thing with trailor hubs, still need to be greased.
This is such a fun channel 😁❤️
Is the salt water that bad that it cant be washed off?
Up north we pretty much soak the under side of our vehicles in salt all winter. And yes. Many of our trucks are pretty damn rusty by the time they hit that 200k mark. But; they still work fine. And a good car wash ever week keeps them from rusting.
do the engines on the twin motor run without anyone at the helm? does he have remote throttle?
Dude in the flats boat that we have seen a few times knows whats up.
My dad always says, "People used to know how to do things in this Country."
Shoot, he was calm as a cucumber like he knew what he was doing... All the way to the point where his 4 wheel drive almost didn't work lol. You know he was stressin out behind the wheel
are you for sure know its salt water? because if its fresh water it should be fine right?
Nice catch at the end.
2:00 Ha! I have that same motor on my jon boat. I'm he was enjoying the day
Had a friend who lived near Pismo Beach Ca. He bought an old Chevy Truck and did a complete frame-off rebuild. When finished, he got drunk and drove it on the beach. Got stuck and by the time help arrived the tide was on its way up. I guess they got the truck out but I've always wondered what became of that truck. True story.
You got to remember here in the north our trucks run with salt for 3-4 months
Dark green F-250 for sale. Excellent condition. Didn't want to spend money to buy a camera to have pictures to post, but you can see the car in this footage I stumbled across on youtube 5:40
