This being a regular (not limited) banner is great. I pulled to the costume and stopped. Only got the guarantee 5* but I can wish list it later. Must save for what is probably going to be a fire Tifa new years costume, her UW and my boy Cid
This is a tough one for me. I have 0b5 prism rod, no costume (through her bahamut one works great). Cloud’s sword definitely exceeds her, and what I’m wondering is if I can just wishlist the weapon and hope Cloud gets a costume somewhere down the road that benefits magic or overall stats. I just want to be able to beat titan ex1. I’m fine waiting for ex2 down the road. Do you think this sword at ob6 without the costume is enough for titan ex1? He would go with red’s wind build and probably Aerith as healer / secondary dps. Or barret/matt with pdef up.
Aerith can beat Titan EX2 with Prism Rod so i'm sure Cloud can manage EX1 Titan with OB6 Holiday Blade! I think Cloud will definitely get an all around magic focused costume for sure next year.
@ thanks! I actually just beat Titan ex1 with my physical wind team lol. So I’m going to skip Cloud’s costume, and get his wind sword over time and eventually prep him to help beat ex2 someday.
I'm curious what's your take on Cloud vs Yuffie banner: which one is better if you have no wind arcanum of any kind? Yuffie does have access to both phys and mag, but her damage % seems low even for sub-dps and her phys weapon is an older one? Is it worth in your opinion to accept compromise on that in order to gain access to both phys and mag arcanum?
My vote is for Cloud as he is a primary DPS whereas Yuffie is a sub DPS/Imperiler and likely most teams will need a primary DPS no matter what leaving a spot open for another character to fulfill the imperil role (Red, for example)
@BodhiJMSRyder Ty, for your input and enjoy your holidays. May your pulls for Cloud be merry if you decide to do them! Also in return an input from me as a newer player (6 mo) regarding pulling for Cloud if you have Aerith built: if the only goal is to defeat Titan before 2025, then no as ppl have already cleared EX2 with her. If your goal is beyond that, I'd say yes since I feel her build is really clunky from the start with HP instead of mag and Floral Wand debuffing physical. Not sure how it feels playing her when she's fully built, but she appears somewhat clunky and that setting up her backend can be a headache even when she's maxed. If you've experienced that while assembling a team with her, then I'd say go for Cloud if you have the crystals.

I'm really on the fence about this. If it were physical, I'd definitely get it, but since I already have OB10 Aerith built up, I'm not sure. I might just wait for a Matk All Allies Wind Arcanum, but I also really want to pull for Cloud since I rarely get the chance.
Not much to discuss mechanics wise. Hits good, hits hard. Easy pickup for me after having to skip Aerith's Prism Dress because Sephiroth's intro banner took me TEN draws to get. Still not miffed about that. Nope. Fit check, though, dislike it. Not really my style, but if I look past that his upper body just feels off. I get that he's got a jacket over a big puffy sweater, but for a slender guy it throws off Cloud's silhouette hard. Wish I could doubleback for Yuffie, or Matt and maybe fish out the Ulti, but according to the datamine there's Cid, Tifa, *and* another potential Cloud banner in January, so it looks like I'm rolling over my 48.5k for next month. Now to figure out how to threaten Applibot for a Vincent launch rerun to fix the magic earth hole in my account...
That costume is so strong but I can’t bring myself to pull due to lack of matk/ability weapons to go with it. Sure Mythril Saber works…but that’s basically it. Bahamut will have to do for me. I wonder if this banner foreshadows a magic-focused cloud.

Hmmm... there's something about those double arcanum costumes... Feels like they are there to cap the element because that unit will not receive an off-hand to match.
It's really hard to do that overall because they all have pros and cons depending on the account they will serve, but i will say that the Matt/Seph one is the worst i would say (except Matt's costume is pretty solid) So probably Cloud > Yuffie > Matt

Damn with just 36k crystal I just have enough to get his costume guaranteed, buuut I also want Vincent's so bad 😢 I will need really good luck on stamps to ger both, I'm not in a rush to get the weapons, fortunately they are non-limited so I can slowly build them up. Please Applibot-san, give away at least 10k crystals as a Christmas present to improve my chances 🙏 XD
Another shady scheme from them, sneakily added the weapon to cloud as 'magic' we all know that our clouds are built as physical. People gonna scramble now how to build cloud as magic. I think only few clouds sub-weapons does have magic R.Abilities. Good luck to those who pull (FTP / seahorses :D)
Wind Aerith can be awkward to build but if you equip Sub Umbrella in the main hand, it sort of solves the awkwardness. The wind potency would not be as high - in its place is a higher magical ability potency.

Spent 42k went through 2 pages and only OB3 and had 4 multi pulls without any 5 stars so I'm quite sad

His offhand options are extremely limited that's for sure. But my guess is that the whole next year Tifa and Cloud will switch physical and magical.
