- Using a Sweepa rubber broom and a hand scraper to clean freezing rain and snow off the car. Freezing rain is just a pain! Actually this is not so bad since the ice wasn't frozen too hard. But still a pain. If you smash your car with a broom you might get some small dents. It's an old car so I don't care.

We used to eat snow, when I was a lot younger. We'd go outside, scoop up some snow in a pan, bring it inside, and add Vanilla Flavoring to it, and maybe a little sugar, mix it up really good, and eat it.

Z0ne5ive There is no way that entire brush is made of rubber because it's hard enough to brake up ice isn't it? How much more brittle is glass on a 32 degree day?
The glass on the car window is much tougher than ice. Ice scrapers are made of very hard plastic and have a sharp edge which can be used to score the ice, but they do not scratch the glass. Plus, the ice is soft with the temperature close to zero, and the car has been running for ten minutes with heat on inside. The Sweepa broom head is a squeegee-like head with bristles, made of 100% rubber (the handle is some kind of lightweight metal). Banging the broom on the car can make small dents, but they are really not noticeable unless you look carefully, plus it's a ten year old car that gets beat up by tough winter weather every year.

Please, at the risk of appearing ignorant, I wish to know, what does it mean when people comment, "I find this so satisfying," upon viewing my video? There is obviously some meaning beyond the obvious?
Well this was posted on an ASMR website. ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is basically where people get an intense tingly feeling of calmness, euphoria, pleasure etc. upon hearing certain sounds. Your video has a lot of the scratching sound that people who experience ASMR react to. OR it could be that people just like to see things get cleaned.

It's no fun. My door locks freeze sometimes, I squirt in some WD-40 or sometimes heat it with a hair drier. By the way, I had to take this car off the road due to rust in the exhaust system and underneath, which is pretty common around here. Good luck!
