- Heartbreaking event here on the farm! You try to do everything you can to take care of your animals and tragedy can still come....a reminder we live in a fallen world. Still really hard not to blame myself.
Taking precautions and watching the girls closely...expecting more snow tonight,
~jc
I have checked Sarah and she has ligaments! I went back and checked my dates and they should be kidding around the week of February 26th. Somehow Chloe must have been bred before then. It would have to have been through the fence!
So sorry to hear!
I am so very sorry for your loss. So heartbreaking.
Thank you! ❤️😭
I am soooo sorry!🥺
So sorry JC.
I'm so sorry to hear this news. Farm life is hard...but still so rewarding. Again, so sorry. 😢
@@yellowmeadowfarm thank you! ❤️😭
Oh no I’m so sorry for your loss, how traumatic 😢
Yes !thank you! Traumatic is the way I felt! I don't think I have cried like that in a long time! I just uploaded an update video that gives me a little bit of comfort!
I’m so sorry to hear that. Y’all are in my prayers.
Thank you so much! 😭❤️
With udders not that big and kids coming early could cash valley be a concern? Both of those things point to Cashe Valley. I'm so sorry!
@@SageandStoneHomestead my vet didn't mention that but (this may sound morbid to some) after I calmed down I went back and check them over and the butterscotch buckling had sex organs reversed. I haven't heard back from the vet since I relayed that info. Sadly there is no vaccine or treatment for Cashe Valley. Thank you ❤️
@SteadfastTrailFarm right I'm so sorry. What's good though is once they get it the doe is immune and should not have issues in subsequent years. That information about the organs is good to know and helps you know you didn't do anything wrong. ♡
Yes 🙌🏼. Thank you!
