Hello there, for the curing process can I use a cardboard box and separate the soaps? Can I substitute breast milk for goats milk? Do I have to use distilled water or can I use filtered ?Is the submersion blender not allowed to be used for other uses after I use it to make soap? Thanks in advance for your help.

I love the block soap! I made two batches of the goats milk soap. The first one turned out great. The second one had little specs of undissolved lye on it, and I’m guessing I’ll need to toss it 😢 why do you think this happened? I want to try again but now I’m a bit hesitant!

I just want to tell you that because of your video I learned to make soap. I freeze my goat milk the way you thought on that vidoe and I had finally got over the fear of working with the lye. Thank you so so much, I rely on this one recipe untill i am comfortable to try something else but I create some awesome soaps with different oils and colors. You are the best.

Is Pasteurized Goat milk from the store ok to make soap?

Beautiful colors! Just fyi, it's the sugar in the milk (not the fat) that can cause the batter to heat more and accelerate. It's also why milk soaps can scorch. Honey or any added sugars make batters hotter faster, which can lead to acceleration. The batter temp, liquid ratio, lack of fragrance, and above avg. use of 50% liquid oils all helped to keep your batter fluid longer. 👍😉

Just wondering... l know horses and ponies need periodic care to get their hooves trimmed, but do they also require regular dental care to get their teeth cleaned? If they do, how often?
