best case i ever got yet , completely love it. now my main rig and display case!
officially had this built for a single night. fully air cooled and despite being a water cooling focused case, and all the glass, my 3080, and i7-9700k build is not getting past 63 C with ultra graphics and raytracing. Case is pretty solid i reccomend it. not as big as you may think either, tight to work with and get all your wires right but still really good. 100% reccomend it no matter the route youre going for cooling.
How’s the cooling a year later? I also have a 3080 and I ended up having to remove my side panel when I play BG3 at max settings. My current set up is also air cooled
I love the drive sleds, matter of fact I love the whole thing!

I used to buy all the components for a build, then just start working with what I have or just buy "some case" that kind of works. I'm so excited to get the Y60 case, it's the first one of it's kind that made me want to build a system around the case instead. It's stunning, original and flexible. I've watched Jayz 2 Cents review / Steve from GM / Greg Salazar / and many many more review. They all just get me so Hyped... for the Hyte. Great case, Looking forward to building in it :)

That is a gorgeous case, looks like a pretty sister to the 011. Plus it has it to where your power supply isn't being cooked directly behind your CPU. Definitely will look into this case in the future when it's more available
Update: I got one! This case is absolutely incredible. I'd like it more if there was more space for a third fan underneath, but it gets PLENTY of airflow. Love this case, highly recommend for any build

The case is not bad, but at an msrp of 199$, it would be nice if there would be less plastic, would be somehow possible to install graphics cards also horizontaly and it would be also nice to have the pre install fans as pwm fans, if you really want to pre-install Fans in that case. And it would be nice, if you would make the mesh modular and not glue it to All the shrouds, so its possible to take the mesh out for better airflow but the Rest is not bad! All in all nice work!

@@Nosci1020 I don't have to make my own, we already have the O11 ;D And thats the reason why I wrote this comment. As I heard, the Hyte 60 was intended to be a competitor to the O11, but why should I choose this case over the O11, for way much more money, if the O11's have all of the points I mentioned here. In the O11, there is only aluminum and/or steel used, it is completely modular, and I really mean completely, it don't have the problem with having not the possibility to install graphics cards horizontaly, or installing aditional cards beside the graphics card at all, and it costs less as I already said.
But I don't want to say this case is completely bad, it's quite the opposite. It has a interesting and unique Design and it comes more or less close to the O11, and I respect that, but in my opinion it's just not good enough to be a real competitor for the O11, because beside the design I don't see any reason, why you should choose the Hyte over the O11, unless you just care about the design itself. Fair enough. I could unterstand this very well. Many descisions I made for my pc were descisions for the look of my pc, so if you don't really care about which is technically better, but only which looks better in your opinion, then go for it. There speaks not much against :D
If that was the result, it would probably could 100 dollars more.

It’s made of Tempered Glass… lmao. The inside is made of metal. Maybe the only plastic there, is the top and bottom exterior white parts.

Hey HYTE, on that side radiator you're running 4 fans for the cpu cooler. Are you running that as an intake or exhaust? I'm really curious because I'm definitely buying this case soon. It's amazing! Just wondering what the best fan set up would be? Thank you.
The case appears to be designed for horizontal cpu radiator airflow (radiator intake, rear exhaust) and vertical gpu airflow (lower intake, upper exhaust)

@@Megahertz88the 011 Evo has an inverted layout where the whole thing is flipped so basically the GPU would be facing the top of the case. They could do it with the Y60 as well.

They look way better in person. I seen one at micro center today. Literally my favorite case. I just wish I knew if it would work with a 3.5 slot GPU like EVGA 3090ti
I have the case and unfortunately anything larger than 2.75 slot is going to basically right on the glass panel.

@@grantblazer7565 I guess that depends. I see some that are less than 3 slots. I would say that 3 slots (meaning no wider than the bracket) would be potentially pushing it from an airflow perspective. Also depends on the cooler, if the bottom of the fins are exposed then maybe that will help as little as there are fans under the GPU but that wouldn't push air to the GPUs fans with anything more then 2.5 slots.
@@grantblazer7565 for reference, I'm currently running a MSI gaming x trio 3090 in the case. Temps get a little warm playing cyberpunk but not unreasonable.

Make a mount for horizontal gpu. This makes no sense having it vertical and up against the glass.

Case has gained a lot of popularity recently and there are very long response and delivery times now as some colors are expected to ship in the next few months. I was lucky to place an order a little earlier but it still took a good 2-3 weeks.

Would love a quality case like this with good dust filtration but in a cube style with room for 2 360 or 480 radiators side by side up top. Flat laying motherboard so no need for a riser. There are very few choices out there but for me the most logical design.

@@hytebrand It would be absolutely amazing if you could actually make this happen. As mentioned, there's not much out there and for water cooling, to me, it's the most logical design, with the 2 radiators up top blowing heat out through the top of the case. I am currently building a new system right now using the Thermaltake Level 20 XT and would love a better quality and designed version with much better dust filtration so the inside isn't covered in dust every two weeks. The Level 20 has some other flaws as well but it's the best I could find, if interested please message me. 😊

This case was PAIIIIIN to work with. Next to impossible cable management, terrible airflow and god awful GPU support.
Please make the vertical mount optional.
It needs to be so easy to build, a blind PC tech with 30 years of experience can assemble it. Don't have a blind person handy? Find your best PC in house builder, and blind fold him or her with some gauze, put all the parts in boxes on a table with your latest case, and say here, we need you to build a PC in this from start to finish,t he only caveat is, you can't see a thing.
Hey, it's what I have to do, and why I'm leaning towards the 5000d...
if inserting DIMM sticks wasn't a royal PITA enough, those front panel pin headers are going to be a royal b1tch... :-/ I'm sure you label them with little text labels. Not going to help. I'm sure you include build manual. Completely useless... look like white blank pieces of paper to me.

All of us Gen Xr's that grew building white box PC's... since our first PC that ran at 1mghz... guess what...we're ow old.. and a lot of us.. probably aren't doing to great :-/
So much so, when I shop for a motherboard, the overriding concern is not the tech specs, but does the BIOS have white on black text... (not white text on blue, or blue text on white, or black text on white)...
Know your customer... it's not millenials, cellenials, or zellenials.
