Oh these are great ideas for cards. The vellum flap looks so much easier than trying to stick it just on the front. Will be doing that always in future! Thank you. ❤
Love all these options, Sasha, & I agree with your choice for your favorite card. :) The best way to use Versafine ink on vellum - & I think it would work on the Versafine Clair inks as well - is to heat emboss with clear powder after stamping. That will lock in the ink & it won't smear. Another ink you can use on vellum is Ranger Archival ink. I don't know if the Distress Archival inks will work the same, nor do I know about other brands of archival inks. I have only used the original Ranger Archival ink. You can let it air dry for a long time after you stamp, or if you would rather speed it along, simply dry the ink with a heat tool. I have always used my heat tool, and am just careful to keep it moving and not point it at the vellum for too long so the heat doesn't warp it. Basically the same technique as heat embossing on vellum. You can get a wider range of ink colors with that, & it works very well on regular cardstock/paper, too, so more versatility. To clean it from stamps, I use Hero Arts Ultra Clean stamp cleaner. I know Simon Says Stamp also has an Ultra Clean version, and there may be others. It works on StazOn as well. It leaves a bit of a greasy residue behind, though, so I always wipe my stamps with a damp chamois cloth after cleaning them to remove that. Anyway, just a few more tips. Thank you for sharing. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)
Awesome cards! 😊 Thank you sooo much for the tip on how to clean our stamps with alcohol. I've always been afraid to use staz-on, for the fear of not being able to clean it off. But now, it's a whole new world of possibilities. Lol. 🤗🤗 Blessings, My Sweet Friend
i havent touched it for years for that same reason. I was always told only use on rubber stamps and anytime i saw anyone use it on clear they couldnt get it off. Was so pleased to discover it comes off no problem with alcohol! :)
Sasha, Just love your cards!! I truly appreciate that you showed different ways to make the same card!! This was so very helpful!!! I hope you and family have a wonderful weekend!!
Wow!!! some super helpful stamping tips. Enjoyed the video. Now I need to have a look at my stamps. Enjoying your extra videos during the week as well. Thanxs!!!!!
Wow these cards are awesome. What a great way to make cards. I love how you stamped the solid image and then the outline on vellum. Very pretty. Thanks for sharing, see you next time
You blaze through these fantastic ideas and cards so fast! It takes me a full day to complete one card and I’m far from a beginner! I loved these and I don’t ever use vellum this way! They all turned out really well and I thought they’d make a nice gift set for a friend!
I think ive managed to become quite efficient when im doing this full time and teaching people. I do steer clear of complex time consuming tools as i find they slow me down and then i start to get bored of the card. I think ive found a good groove now for creating projects :) thank you so much for watching :)
i always assumed id never get it off, and then i just tried alcohol as that's what i use on my versamark and it was absolutely fine! it's a great little hack
Awesome ideas again and beautiful cards - love them all - such happy cards. Love your videos. Looking forward to watching you and Lou - two of my favourites. Thanks Sasha and have a wonderful weekend x
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing how to clean the Stazon off the photopolymer stamps, AND for the tip on how to create your own stamps using fun foam! I have never seen either of those tips and they are very helpful! Loved your last card the best! TFS!
Loved the Doodle card! I've always loved vellum but its changed over the years. It used to be very transparent but now I find much more cloudy here in the states.
Fabulous cards Sasha! But, I've got to say I cannot believe the timeliness of your video! I impulse-ordered my first ever Stazon ink pad a couple of days ago and it arrived today. Then I thought, oh no - how to I get this stuff off my stamps!? I searched the web, only to read that you should never use Stazon with photopolymer stamps!😱 I was horrified... What had I done!? So thank you, Sasha, your video has come to the rescue! 😁
Oh my days this has made my day! I know i was always told never to use it on them, but it actually is perfectly fine! it hasnt damaged my stamps at all! comes off so easily with alcohol. I even left it for most of the day to see if that impacted being able to clean them and it didnt, came straight off. A slight bit of staining, but i never plan to keep my stamps for life(as i love new things and get bored of stamps after a while so i give them away or sell them) but they stamp perfectly still so no damage done
Wow Sasha I love your tip on the cleaning of the stamps. I really like the use of the vellum as the front of the card. I don’t own that type of dies you used as stamps but love the tip, I need to look for that type of dies. Great tips Sasha, thanks.
ive been using on my stamps for over a year and not noticed a change at all. You can always clean them with alcohol and then rinse with spray of water after if you're worried
Hi, I wasn’t being critical but photopolymer can become brittle over time if isopropyl alcohol / 70% alcohol is used on them, even if only a quick wash over with it. You may not notice straight away but chances are you will find it will shorten their life overall. The chemical compounds react poorly.

I adore your sweet voice and your gentle style. So comfortable with your craft.
I could just binge watch videos all day ❤

I didn’t think isopropyl was safe to use with photopolymer? The isopropyl cam break down the material can’t it? Xx
