Salem MA has many other notable historical facts besides witches, it’s home to the oldest candy makers “Ye Old Pepper Companie” in the US, there’s amazing port & ship history. It’s also one of my favorite places for antique shops. House of Seven Gables too! Fun fact: Arthur Miller was married to Marilyn Monroe
Yes.Just a little constructive criticism here Action Kid...Please give us some more background history of what you're looking at.There is so much history here that you are just walking past:-)
I live in downtown Salem. Glad you enjoyed my town. You came at a very quiet time of the year, but last Saturday, when you visited, it was much busier. A lot of people came for the Salem So Sweet festival with the ice sculptures. Hope you make it again in nicer weather, when the pandemic is behind us.
Thank you AC I have read much on the Salem Witch Trials and really enjoyed the walk through Salem. Something I will never be able to do on my own. Hope you enjoyed your trip and visit with your brother and sister in law to be
So glad you went to Salem!! My family has a lot of history there, many of them are in the Quaker cemetery.. even streets named for them. Hoping to go some day! Thanks!
It's Pea-body (like a human body or body of work). Having done the Crucible twice it was so amazing to see the stones for so many of the characters from the play.
Thank you very much AK I have been traveling with you all around USA wishes my dream to visite one day i still connecte with all your vidoe wish the best brother GOD Bless
When I lived in Maine, I went to Salem frequently. It’s a beautiful, sea coastal, historic city. I love Salem. My favorite city in Massachusetts. In Seacoast New Hampshire, be sure to visit Portsmouth NH. That’s another beautiful sea coast city! FYI: Public Restrooms can be found in the National Park Visitor Center.
@@lvdawnll8166 I’ve had to move out of New England, Scarborough Maine in 2004 because a family member was diagnosed with brain cancer. It’s not what I wanted to do, but I know it was the right thing to do. I miss New England and all of its charms!
So sorry about your family member. Portsmouth's South End where I'm from has become very pricey! Hardly anyone I grew up with can afford to stay there anymore. But it's nice to go visit!
@@lvdawnll8166 thanks LV. Yes, Maine got that way when they put the rail line from Portland to Boston. All the people from Massachusetts came north and drove up prices. Most Mainers could not afford the price of a home from Kittery all the way up the coast. We made out much better in Pennsylvania financially, but if I could ever get back up that way again, I’ll gladly trade the rat race for some solitude! 😊
What a fun excursion to Salem, MA.//Wish you could have gone into the Witch House and its grounds, the cost of 'Witch' would be equal to a Boston Burger.//1692 was not a good year in Salem, and for a few seconds, as you announced names of individual benches engraved with the names of "Witches" -- innocents-- that were executed; while doing flips, sliding over dangerous wet ice, I was hoping there would not be another bench named after AK (who is no witch). That said, a case can be made on what we are going through these days.// Loved the 'heart-renduring' Ice Sculpture encapsulating Gary and your future sister-in-law. :)
I think your brother is right about the witch house or museum. A friend went in. I waited outside with a book. She said it was cheesy. If anyone liked the show "Charmed" , that book of spells exists and is on display in a store near the main drag. Near Halloween, the line to get in will be out the door
Loving your videos wow I wish I could get a chance to visit other 🇺🇲 and just enjoy because it's a big world out here keep posting great videos it's like I'm walking with you guys be safe
You missed the village with the 300 year old houses with low ceilings and skinny staircases, including my friend and neighbor's (Dennis Phippen) ansester's Phippen House from the 1600😮😇
7:08 They were all innocent, it was done because of many reasons. Primarily they thought that the “witches” had caused the harsh winter, failed crops and several kids got sick.
So nice to see you spending time with your brother this past week.
Thank you, AK, for showing the memorial for the victims of the witch trials. My ancestor Ann Pudeator was one of them. Thanks for reading her name♥️
You're welcome!
It’s so nice of you Kenneth . Thank you 🧙♀️

Interesting video....thanks so much!
love ghost tours.
Lots of haunted spots in town 👻
The history of this town is what brings the people this time of year. A chance to learn different things about the unknown.
Love your walking videos of Boston! Unfortunately, you're only getting maybe 20% of the real experience and vibe because of the pandemic.
Thank you very much AK I have been traveling with you all around USA wishes my dream to visite one day i still connecte with all your vidoe wish the best brother GOD Bless

I stayed at the Hawthorne Hotel on Halloween, I could see the park and Witch Museum from my room...cool!
love the ice sculpture
Can’t believe you went to my hometown 😊
Great! I've been going there for years. Hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks! The House of Seven Gables -- classic book by Nathaniel Hawthorne. And there really is a house of 7 gables.
I think your brother is right about the witch house or museum. A friend went in. I waited outside with a book. She said it was cheesy.

Pemandangan yang indah sekali dengan salju salju yang putih. Salam dari Indonesia bro :)

this with a Pocket 2 or a phone? which phone if so?
How does the ice sculptures stay frozen because of the outside temperature I presume?
Great job
Yes, Arthur Miller wrote “Death of a Salesman.” It’s probably his most famous play. He married Marilyn Monroe, too.
Bookishhorsegirl That's right! Forgot about that.
Alec Baldwin owns Miller & Monroe's house in Amagansett NY
the liberty bell is in Philadelphia, PA and your talking about the elder wand from harry potter
great video
I went there once. Years ago loved it
I love the arcade bar there
Ken, your future sister-in-laws seems very nice!😀
Witch museum nostalgia! Any plan to go to Alcott’s house?
What a historic town
Aurthur Miller, was also married to Marilyn Monroe . Thank you for the walk tour 🖤😎👍
👍
high quality walking videos. I have the same concept from turkey
You did't pass in front of Modern Millie ?
The wand in Harry Potter you refered to was called The Elder Wand.
You missed the House of seven Gables at Pickering Wharf
They can put that picture on their wedding invitations 💜💚💛
so cool.
The shopping mall on the main drag has public restrooms
Those innocent people (including children), lost their lives, because the Parish (at the time) wanted the land!
thanks i always wanted to but didnt visit Salem. Gez. they've turned it into Disneyland for Salem Witches.
7:08 They were all innocent, it was done because of many reasons. Primarily they thought that the “witches” had caused the harsh winter, failed crops and several kids got sick.
Porta John's near the visitor center
“The House of 7-Gables” means, that it has “7 Chimneys”
A gable is not a chimney... 🤣😅
never mind i see you are using pocket in window reflection
The witch trials actually were done in Danvers Ma
🙂💬👍

I see there's a Salem in Oregon too, confusing for an Englishman. 👍
I knew a girl from Puberty (That's how she pronounced it) and she was creepy!
Lol, the two words have the same stress, but the pronunciation is as AK has done here (unless she was being sarcastic)
👍👍👍👍
They’re Creepy and they’re gloomy 🎼 🎵 😱👻🧟♀️🧟💀
I love Salem, MA, especially in October.
Man I used to enjoy your nyc videos but travelling to do a tour In a pandemic? That’s so irresponsible.
You should've gone in
I’m last
😀
Myanmar COUP D'ETAT
Fuck the politics, getting tired of it.
You bypassed so many landmark and so much history in the first 3 minutes😔 I quit watching.
