The fact that people put flowers on the memorials for the women who were murdered brought tears to my eyes. I’m happy that people don’t just go for the fun spooky aspect of Salem, but recognize that these women were murdered unjustly and deserve respect and remembrance.
I worked the Salem Visitor Center (as a national park service guide) on Halloween. The place was packed to the ceiling. For lunch, we ate slices of pizza in the back between visitors, and to close, we had to physically place somebody at the door to turn back the crowd at closing time so the building would empty.
I actually really enjoyed the music, you could still hear the ambiance but it also set a mood, I liked it, maybe even spooky music next time 👻…. So the guy at 7:55 was that a costume or he was just that tall? That was kinda cool 🫣 he has this Frankenstein aura about him, and I mean that in the best way. Nice video thanks 🧟♂️ 🎃

The video itself is cool but unfortunately the music attached to the video obscures the sounds of Salem!!!!! It would have been much better without the music.
You walk very fast, and you don't focus on anything that comes out in October! the children dressed up, the dressers decorated! the festive atmosphere. The music sounds like something from a furniture commercial. you can exploit the place more.
Why do I always find these harsh criticism on walking videos. I don’t understand why people feel it necessary to harshly criticize such a simple video form. Go out and fill it yourself then, walk slower and use different music. And to the original poster, thank you so much for posting this video! I’ve never been to Salem and it was nice to feel like I was visiting it myself.
@@charliebear154 Because criticism with suggestions helps you improve, of course you can only expect applause if your ego is so huge, but you will fall at the first attempt.

There were a lot of “characters” there. I am sure to many of them. Halloween is a year round holiday 😂. Definitely a unique place to visit
