    Kalau memakai pickup pasif apakah harus memakai potensio mn250/500k? Atau bisa pakai potensio kaki 6 yg lainnya?

      @@tixcustomsph if I have a bass guitar with a passive pickup, and I want to install a potentiometer to split the sound of the neck and bridge. So should I use the same potentiometer as in the video or another 6 pin potentiometer?

    My blent pot has no sound when in the middle position. Only when on bridge or neck. Did i do something wrong?

      If it is MN type, just reverse the hot and ground wires 👍

    in a lefty bass, rule of thumb is no more. actually you can swap up/down on a righty too, but it makes more sense on a lefty. cw is neck, ccw is bridge. I did it on my basses, ungrounded blend cutting the traces for no load.

    • @tixcustomsph
      @tixcustomsph  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes we have to reverse 1s and 3s if we are gonna wire a lefty bass. With regards to blend, only the upper and lower.

    Got a Bass from someone recently. The center position on the blend pot is much lounder than the other two positions. I'm assuming something is wired wrong or bad pot?

    • @tixcustomsph
      @tixcustomsph  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It could be a bad pot. Is it an MN type blend pot?

    HI thanks for the video, I did this in a bass that had 2 volumens, is an active bass with circuit, but I did everthing ok and it sounds ok, but the problem is that blend is almost unnoticiable, when I move it to Bridge pickup its like it changes all the way and I don't have a smooth changing of pickups while rotating the potentiometer... why is that?? thanks for the video It helped me a lot.

      Hi did you use the MN type blend pot?

    • @GonTello
      @GonTello 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tixcustomsph yes the same one that you have... The only thing is that mine the output goes to the volume pot and the output in the volume goes to the preamp... I read that there is another pot to use a Delano C250k special for this... But I don't know

    Are you only using the hot leads of the pickups? Hard to tell in video

    • @tixcustomsph
      @tixcustomsph  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ground leads are soldered to the case of the pot.

    Ok, I do not play bass but am building my first bass for my father. I have Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickups. I bought two volume pots and a tone pot. But I am planning to replace to tone pot with blend pot. So does it make sense to have two volume and this blend pot? Do you have any instructions on doing that?

    • @tixcustomsph
      @tixcustomsph  ปีที่แล้ว

      There's no need to have 2 volume pots if using a blend pot. Just master volume, blend and tone. Please check the Seymour Duncan website for diagrams.

      Thanks for the quick response. On the back of the blend pot case is a female hex slot.

    • @tixcustomsph

      Trimming it CCW will give around 300 +/- ohms off for the bridge pickup at center position. I would recommend turning it CW for a near 0 ohm at center and full bridge position.
