    One aspect the watched video forgot about (or willingly left out) is language, culture, and Indigenous peoples though. Also weather!! Fun to see our friends travel virtually and I learned things with them 😊

      That would be fair in a general informational video about the countries, but this video is literally just a head-to-head statistical comparison between them, with very little of interest to most people. The video they're watching kind of sucks.

      @@jawbone78Yes, it is probably worth mentioning that Canada is officially a bilingual country, with French and English having equal status at the federal level (at the provincial level, 1 large province has French as the official language, and 1 smaller province is officially bilingual). There are also native languages in Canada, and some of them are used in the public sphere and for road signs, for example Cree and Inuktitut in northern Québec.

    I'm always surprised by Russia having a smaller economy than Canada. I know they're not exactly rich but you'd think all the oil, mining, farmland, and a hundred million more people would add up to more collectively

    Hm, certainly interesting, but a bit dry maybe. Lots of number crunching. A few more impressions of the countries would certainly have done well. Although a deeper look into landscape, climate, and wildlife of both countries would certainly be worth another reaction...

    i live in canada and its true that a lot of indians are moving here right now, i work with a lot of them. nice people. most have been very respectful of our country, we've been more than happy to provide PR citizenship and visas to those who did well in school and have great career potential. although it is now becoming more difficult to come here as were at full capacity housing wise, until we can build more housing it isnt wise to let people come here, we dont have the room for them yet but will soon! its probably one of the biggest issues in our country currently. canada's population is growing fast which is a good thing but we must make sure all of the ppl living here and the new arrivals' needs are met before we continue to grow at this pace.

    • @Zultzify
      @Zultzify 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      and im not trying to not encourage people to come to canada to study right now, but saying you should wait a few years, if you come now they will judge you more harshly than those who came a few years before, getting visas and PRs is currently becoming harder and expecting to continue becoming harder until we solve our housing crisis.

    Well, if you like a lot of snow, Canada is the place. If you like only a little bit of snow, Australia is the place. Australia ia more expensive, but the wages here are higher. You can holiday here, but you can't move here unless you are employed in certain jobs that we have a scarcity of. That can vary, but doctors and nurses are almost always welcome.

    😂😂🇦🇺 Babu, Australia and Canada do thorough background checks on everyone who applies for permanent residency plus they need to have a skilled job that cannot be done by the citizens of the country they apply to migrate to.

      @@gods-best-friend-gbf Again I can only speak for Australia. Although we have accepted a couple thousand people from Gaza here, they are being well-supported and in well living conditions now, but they will not stay here permanently unless they earn it. Most likely they will not stay here permanently, though.

    Most Indians that go to America are actually computer engineers that earn money quickly to get family over. They usually end up in California or New York as that’s where the Hindi population is right now. Honestly you sometimes find better food from the provinces than anywhere else. Most Americans are used to Indians being around and are somewhat familiar with a few Indian names.

    Canada cannot handle its current population and certainly cannot handle getting larger. Very many Indians and other people are being tricked by scammers to migrate to Canada, where you currently cannot find an affordable place to live outside of small, rural towns with no jobs, and where you can't find a doctor if you don't already have one. A large percent wind up sharing over-priced apartments with other immigrants while working at minimum-wage jobs. Many want to leave Canada and regret the mistake of going. I urge people to use caution when dealing with individuals and companies that facilitate immigration to Canada. They want to make money and will lie and do whatever it takes to get yours. I advise caution when applying to Canadian universities, which are run like corporations and are absolutely desperate to profit off as many international students as they can. Canada is not a dream country where everything will be good just because you are there. Careful study and caution is necessary.

    The reason why Australia's military is better than canadas is because USA needs australia to be strong. as they were one of our greatest allies in ww2 against the japanese and still are one of our greatest allies today. Australia is one of the only countries in the world that has USA military technology. The reason why is because incase of future wars they can hold their own until USA shows up. Without australia... america has only a few small islands in the west pacific ocean. Islands dont have much food and support as one of the biggest countries in the world could provide. The biggest reason as to why canada doesnt have as big of a military is because its USA's closest neighboring country along with mexico. So canada doesnt need as much military strength as no country really has the capability to attack them and the threat of USA intervening is the BIGGEST deterrence. Also, as an american myself if you attack canada you are attacking america. Dont mess with our canadians. As australia is farther from america and doesnt share a land border it makes it extremely difficult for troops, tanks and planes to get to australia as all of those things need to be moved there and that takes alot of time and money. When it comes to logistics the USA military knows what its doing and has even required australia to upgrade/increase its military. Which is why australia is one of the only countries in the world that america gives military equipment to. Also, as an american, australians are some of our greatest friends. My grandpa is australian and just like canada if you attack australia, your attacking america and you will be dealt with. I fu*king dare any country to test that because you will regret it.

      i agree, australias military is admirable, canadas military's biggest asset is their training. due to the lower size of the military our soldiers tend to get more thorough training and gain specialty skills. i appreciate you saying an attack on canada would be an attack on america, we here in canada would think the same should something ever happen to your country again. hope all is well on this date, im sure its hard for many of you still.

      In the present times, Boatlanders from Gaza, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, etc. are a bigger threat to Secular, Liberal Democracies all over the world. 😅. UK is full of Illegals from Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc. They won't work to fix their countries, but wanna Islamize non-Islamic countries.
