Hilton cards are good for easy status for people who don't travel as much. You can get Diamond status just by having the Hilton Aspire card. I actually prefer Marriott and Hyatt because they're more challenging to get and so not as many people have top status with those brands. Which usually means better upgrades and nicer perks if the status is harder to obtain.
