  • Kapal Bhati's literal mean is ‘the shining forehead.’ Shining forehead and sharp intellect are the sign of healthy body. For strong and sharp mind and intellect. Regular practice of Kapalbhati Pranayam or kriya gives you a glowing forehead and also sharpens your intellect. It balances and controls the mind. Regular practice of Kapal Bhati Pranayama detoxifies the entire systems of your body.
    Senior yoga expert Dr Varunveer who is also governing body member of ICCR has explained the kapalbhati pranayam in detail in this video.       first step-
      first pranayama, we're gonna do through navel and of 50 exhalation and one, it would be better for lower back and navel area and effective of reducing fat around it. and we're supposed to put our hands over both sides of knees the way you feel comfortable.
      Now we're going to do force exhalation rapidly, however the inhalation should be natural, not to force. Moreover Exhalation is supposed to sound like sneezing.
      You are to feel the pressure as you go exhale, all of breath ought to come out.
      Back and head should he straight.
      You are to think, all the impurities of your body is coming out and to think, purity and vaccum is being created inside you while the inhale is passive and normally. inhalation should be soundless and the exhalation with force.
      After completing, rest yourself and feel the body and mind.
      Step 2 :
      All the same, however this time exhalation and force ought to through chest, movement of tummy is natural in this case. Start 100 exhalations.

    First time I've seen Kapalbhati done in three ares of the torso (abdomen, lower chest, clavicle/upper chest). Is that traditional? Usually it's taught just for the abdominal area,

    Sir, all the other teachers say that people with High BP, Heart problems or diabetes should not do this, however it is also said that those conditions may improve with Kapalbhati. What is your suggestion? Thank you.

      For heart & high BP patients just do 3rd step. But all step good for diabetes

      Yes it does help ...the kapalbhati with abdomin ...i have personally benifited from it for the probkems you have mentioned ...but start gradually ..with 50 reps ...in one round.....start with 2 rounds

      @@Duniya_Mderchod_Hei 50 reps ...means fifty exhalations .... actually i was also facing ocd ...but more than ocd , i was having severe anxiety and nerousness , but since last 2 months ago ..i started with kapalbhati practise ... and i have benefited tremendously ..my nervousness has reduced drastically ... but the only key is you should not overdo it
