I was thinking the same thing! The headlights can only go so wide on the car, so without it shining on the child it made it look like he 'vanished' because there was no light to keep him visable.

I saw that video and know that area. Its basically a very long deserted stretch of road with no houses anywhere within a walking distance. That area was also one of those devastated by a typhoon which caused death of thousands. So, I guess thats why they thought it was a ghost.

that road was notorious for apparitions and ghost sightings every night (early hours in the morning).. that province here in Philippines was completely devastated during the typhoon yolanda... so that's also the reason why they sped up and didnt stop to take a look..

#12 would be a very confusing situation for me to be in. I would be concerned that it was a lost kid OR I would be scared it was a ghost OR I would be scared that it is a trap to make people pull over. I would want to stop to help the kid but I would be so hesitant to do so. Best thing to do is to just call the police and keep driving if possible, maybe turning around to drive past again while on the phone.
