  • We love to camp and decided to spend the weekend at Huguenot Memorial Park after it reopened last year. Hurricane Matthew literally destroyed this park and it took years to rebuild, so we finally booked a quick getaway from our home in Jacksonville, FL to see how much it has changed. The campground has both primitive camping, as well as sites equipped with electric, but no water or sewer hookups. However, they do have a dump station and potable water dispensers. We love to tent camp a lot, so that's what you'll see on this trip. There are restrooms and showers, but very small (only two stalls in total) and no benches or areas to set things like soap or shampoo, so bring a shower caddy. Next time I'll do a more in-depth video, but hope you at least enjoy this brief tour.
