Used to live near Spituk Gompa. I know the place has grown a lot over the years. This video really brought nostalgic memories :) Hats off to Mr. Wangchuk for undertaking such a significant project. I noted in his lecture how local solution will be successful and how Global solution from Newyork or New Delhi does not work. We learnt how to think globally act locally. Hats off sir.

phunchu drema ... water can be used in down hills for irrigation purpose and generated power can also be transmitted to other places ..... however it can be done anywhere else wherever it is feasible.
