Sylosis rules, honestly this isn’t even close to their best stuff either, their albums edge of the earth and monolith are absolutely perfect masterpiece records. Highly recommend checking out the song “empyreal” great song off edge of the earth record that actually has a video too. Anyway good stuff, Sylosis is so sick and Josh Middleton is a metal god
I've know empyreal, great song - and jam some of their older stuff on my stream.. some of my favs being reflections through fire and teras.. but this new album absolutely crushes for me. Sylosis is top tier!!
I've reacted to the entire album. check my vids - Judas is great - the entire album is great imo. I've heard other musicians play fit for an autopsy on stream so before replying I went and listened to -- as well and skipped through/listened to various parts of their 2023 bloodstock performance ..and honestly.. hard no. I feel like because I know people love this band - there's already someone furiously typing about how I'm wrong because a-z .... but....the entire band is bland for me. It's gotta be groovy. Also wiki has them listed as prog metal? ... LOL!??!
@donmowatt interesting for me ffaa and sylosis tickle the same pickle. 😆 but I get what you mean the groves are not as easy to get into. But for me it was a band that constantly grew on me they are the reason I listen to death core, after all. If you wanna have a "really" "groovy" song of theirs you could listen to "swing the axe". But that's just if ur feeling adventurous, I don't wanna pressure u into listening. (As if I could)
