    My bday is in 3 weeks. I’m turning the big 40. 😩I’m old. Gonna pick up the Stribog. Good price point. Mrgunsgear showed it had amazing accuracy. I’m sold.

      I turned 39 in August and I was planning on buying a CZ Shadow 2. I bought a new Rogue squat rack for my garage gym instead. I love shooting but I've been a powerlifter for 20 years. Glad I didn't jump on the CZ yet. Especially with Dan Wesson showing the DWX.

      Wild Bill that’s so weird. I was looking at the CZ shadow 2. Found a used one. The grey one for $875 near me. Yeah gotta take care of yourself. I lift 4 days a week. But I do lighter weights high repetition. Mostly 40lb dumbbells.

    Awesome. I have to say, your channel is my favorite 2A channel since I got on TH-cam in 2015.
    I also commend you on this tutorial, not saying i'm telling you what to do but you should do more of these type of tutorials on new firearms you review.
    You take care and thanks for all your efforts to give us content on the interweb.

    Great video and one that I will come back to. This is my wife's favorite weapon. It was a game changer for her so proper cleaning and maintenance will be key to having here come back out to the range. Thanks again!!!

    Just picked up my A2 'Bog. (It's the one between the A1 and A3 roller-delay.) Got it as a steal for Black Friday--could not help myself. You are a MASTER, Sir! Excellent instruction on cleaning the Stribog right outta the box before I fire it. A basic and simple 9mm built like a tank--what more could you ask for?

    Nicely done. I like that you get right down to business and keep the focus on the gun and educate on the gun. Too many people that do videos talk way too much about themselves. Some of the close ups of the gun were not really very clear. Seems like you rely on natural lighting but I don't really know. Some illumination getting down into the parts of the gun would be helpful. Great job over all.

    Hello, thank you for the informative video. Do you know what the little dog-ear spring is for that slightly protrudes from the bottom of the upper when disassembled? Is it normal for it to just hang down when disassembled? I can see it in your video at 4:19 and it looks the same as mine so I assume it's alright. Just want to make sure I did not put mine back together incorrectly. Thank you! Also sweet Bog bro

    • @coburna5
      @coburna5 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s for the bolt catch. It’s what gives you tension for the bolt to lock back, when you press up on the stamped catch.

      Holland I wanted to buy one but after messaging grand power USA asking about the a3 they said it is waiting approval for import. Only difference is roller delayed blowback.

    • @neurotoksyn
      @neurotoksyn 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gom3r69 I had considered waiting for the a3 as well but the addition of roller delayed blowback wasn't enough to deter me from picking up a current gen. In the end it's a great pistol regardless of which one you get. Probably going to get an a3 when it comes out too.

  • @amandasturino8194
    @amandasturino8194 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for the tutorial. I was taught how to clean a Glock pistol by brushing on Hopes solvent, than using Gun Scrubber which would leave all the metal parts clean and dry and than applying a minimal amount of oil on a few relevant parts like the slide rails. Should the Stribog be cleaned the same way? Will it damage the gun by using Hopes and gun scrubber and than putting CLP on the bolt and contact points? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    I have a gen2 stribog but the safety only switches if the bolt has been pulled back and or charged but as soon as the trigger is pulled I can’t move the safety and I have no idea if this is normal or not, I’m not a super gun guy.

    What do you think of this thing in comparison to say a cz scorpion?

    • @BradThunderOKC
      @BradThunderOKC 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Scorpion is lighter, it has a polymer upper. Stribog has heavier, it has an aluminum upper. Both shoot well suppressed. Stribog handles recoil a bit better. More aftermarket accessories for the Scorpion (as of now). The trigger's are debatable, but out of the box i'd say the Stribog has a better trigger.
