There most certainly are already military units in Ukraine. Intelligence, mecanics and supports (SCALPs are not sent in amazon boxes with a user manual etc) etc.... probably already including special forces. France special forces have been spotted here and there on other fronts in the past, while there was no admission of such by the government.
Here what is happening is that there are talks of something official, either in an act of information war, or because the volume of men couldn't be hidden.

Russia lost 29 thousand killed in action in the month of February 2024. That's the most KIA'S in a month since the beginning of hostilities. Ukraine losses are around 30 thousand in 2 years of fighting. Bringing some of our other Armies into Play is a good thing for Ukraine. They can perform many functions and a lot the table for Ukraine.
