Yonex Arcsaber 7 Pro Review vs Yonex Arcsaber 11 Pro - Which even balanced racket is better?
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 4 ก.พ. 2025
- This is my review of the Yonex Arcsaber 7 Pro which is the latest generation of even balance badminton racket by Yonex. It is also Yonex's second Arcsaber release of 2022 after the Arcsaber 11 Pro earlier in March. I also compare both the Arcsaber 7 Pro and 11 Pro rackets in this video.
The Arcsaber 7 Pro transfers many of the design properties from the Arcsaber 11 Pro but there were 2 major differences in the racket frame. The Arcsaber 7 Pro is also classified as a medium stiff racket with incredible shuttle hold properties, in line with the rest of the modern Arcsaber families. Yonex also launched its latest badminton string, the Exbolt 65 alongside this Arcsaber 7 Pro.
Yonex will also be launching its budget friendly models of the Arcsaber 7 with the Arcsaber 7 Tour and Arcsaber 7 Play. I will be releasing a separate video looking at them very soon.

I got both racquets. 11pro 3u (replaced my 4u 100zz) and 7pro 4u. Both are great racquets. The 7pro is definitely a bit head light so rear court play is a bit hard unless you got a strong arm and good technique. 11pro definitely a better all round play. Both racquets are great for control play, drop shots, net plays, drives. Happy to answer any questions :)
Which is better? Arc 11 vs arc 11pro?
@@rysrys2977 i don't have the original 11 and haven't used it in a long time. Can't comment which is better
@@jiminy2731 would u see as 4u arcsaber 11 pro fine
@@rongfran8971 4u is probably better for front court and control play (slightly faster and easier to handle). I play front and back and find the 3u perfect all rounder. It all depends on the user capabilities, not the racquet!
how heavy is arc11 pro 3u compared to 100zz 4u? planning to replace from 100zz to arc11 pro :D
Love the production quality on the videos. Really informative as well, and now I really wanna try this racket.
Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏼
i recently got an arcsaber 7 pro as a gift and it's basically the only racket i use now when i play
It’s good isn’t it!!
@@CKYew it just clicked with me, it’s so easy to use and is capable of so much
Hello doctor, which string you think better for Arcsaber 7 pro between Exbolt 65 and BG80 Power?
It would be interesting to see a comparison between arcsaber 11/7 pro and victor bravesword 12
Interesting that you felt like you got more power out of ArcSaber 7 than 11, unless I misunderstood. Since you’re used to 88D Pro, but the 7 felt faster so could get more speed?
Its gooo, the racket looks amazing, really love the matte finish
Matte rackets are always gooddddddd 😊
I've been waiting for this! Awesome review as always CK! Love from MY 💪
Hope you enjoyed it!
This is what I’ve been waiting for and I’ll be waiting for the victor thruster ryuga 2 review hehe

How do you think these racquets stand up next to the Astrox 88D Pro? I'm thinking of getting either or, for something that's just a litttttle easier on my shoulder!
Thank you for this timely and informative review! I'm thinking of having a new balance racquet and surely will put this ARC 7 Pro on my wish list.
👍🏼👍🏼✌️
Love your content. By the way, Arcsaber is famous for its "hold" effect but amateurs like me can't actually feel or discern it. Can you make a separate video going through the hold effect? Maybe, comparing with other rackets...
You will notice it if you play with the arcsabers then with another type of racket strung with the same strings 👍🏼
@@CKYew what’s the best string for arcsaber 7 play?
Finally got the 7pro with aerobite, it was a lot more fun to play with. Somehow the faster swing helps me to generate decent power. Love it, using 7pro and astrox ZZ, loving the 7pro more. Thank you for the review
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 niceeee
sorry for the super late question but how was your smashing and rear court play with the 7pro?
Hello do you think aerobite can generate more power than exbolt 65 with Arcsaber 7 pro ?
Thanks. After trying few rackets, I found I still like more flexible head light racket with 24-25 lb string of nanogy 98. I am an intermediate player. What racket in your mind which you would recommend? Thanks
Love you videos ! Would love to see you do more collaboration with other badminton TH-camrs like Talia ng or others more. Very entertaining

Hi ck, Can i ask what the Assist Bumper does on the Arcsaber 11 Pro? And which Yonex String do u recommend a Intermediate player use? And at what tensions?
Please do give a comparison for 11 Play and 7 Play, I'm really interested in getting one of these very soon.
7 Pro/Tour/Play comparison coming soon
I have the 11 Play. Its surprisingly powerful and easy to control right off the bat with factory strings. I usually go for 24-26lbs bg65 and didnt have issues with factory strings. Played with 7 Play, it was too flexible and hard to control. Easy as hell to backhand clear with. Just be careful when hitting hard with either. Lots of vibration radiates to your whole arm. Cheers
@@upy0ur5 but I think factory string is much lower than 24 lbs. I can’t stand the bounce when I play net shots 😬
@@IwanSetiawan-dv1wl Factory feels like 18-20 lbs and I agree the bounce is horrible for net shots. Going from 24-26 down to factory strings makes my net shots bounce almost a meter high. Lol
@@upy0ur5 exactly…i just started playing very regularly now and I can’t stand factory setting string. I changed it the first time and wow my net shots are much better 😂
How durable was the exbolt 65? I’m planning to get my first real racket which is the 11pro but I can’t choose from the bg80, bg65, nanogy 98, or the exbolt 65. I am a control rounded player, however I lack arm muscle for smashing power, and I also prefer to use a string that lasts very long as I am not financially capable of buying more strings after it breaks.
If your smashing power isn't that powerful, the exbolt 65 will last relatively long (I used it before came back to BG66 ultimax). But for me, exbolt 65 feels a bit hard (not for control) compared to the bg66 ultimax. So, I think BG66 ultimax will suits you well.
@@stevenl5712 bg 66um dont last long. Exbolt 65 is more durable and has more control.
Considering the 7 pro as my back up racket. Already playing the 11 pro for 3 months now and I absolutely love it.
Sounds amazing!
@@CKYew Bought the 7 pro with Exbolt 65 three days ago, just like the 11 pro, it was so easy to use and fun to play. I still use the 11, they’re almost identical I can’t feel the difference (aside from the the weight which is 4U) I use the 3U 11 pro. Netting is such a joy when using the 7 pro.
5:08 if you are concerned that string might break due to scooping i dont see it as a problem i have used arcsaber 11 pro for about 6 months now and i have broke the strings once and only the crosses
Rankireddy switched back to Duora Z Strike! Spotted it when seeing him play in the Commonwealth Games
Yes he did! I will certainly ask him about it the next time I see him
@@CKYew would be nice to know the reason behind this decision!
helo ck, if you need to choose of the arcsaber 7 pro & astrox 77 pro? which one you wanna buy? what the difference about both racket?
Hi, love your vids. I currently main the Arc11pro 4U, but am thinking to get a Arc7pro 4U (just because Arc11pro is out of stock everywhere in the region I'm at). From your experience, would it be hard to switch between the racquets?
I originally had 3x Arc11pros, but unfortunately had two break. One from unlucky clash, and another i got used that came with a crack that propagated that I missed :( Now looking for a 2nd racquet since a tournament is coming up end of the month.
I'm a big fan of the original Jet speed 10 racquet, and am definitely an all-rounder player !
Any word on pricing and when it’ll be available?
Would be interested to see where this sits on the Yonex racket matrix, will it be a 4U G5 in the UK?
Good comparison as always!
Yep, it should be 4ug5 in the U.K. although not sure about time scales and price 😬😬
At 9 :03 what did @CKYew mean by "We want higher shuttle speeds, not necessarily heavier failing shuttles" ?
Great as always....
And i believe you're trying Yonex comfort z 3..…. Hope to see it's detailed review soon
Coming soon 👍🏼
Any feedback abt comfort z 3?
From my surveys from other reviewers and also to your reviews, many said that these two rackets are very hard to tame when it comes to finding the raw power of those rackets. I haven't yet decided wether I choose to buy the arcsaber 7 pro or arcsaber 11 pro or astrox 100zz or astrox nextage because of the prices like for example the astrox 100zz price here in the philippines is already cost more than $300 because of tax inflation
The nextage shouldn’t be the same price as the 100ZZ as they should be cheaper
Just get ZF2, Astrox 100zz or 99pro
Video idea : compare the 7pro (4U) to the bravesword12 (3U) and see what are the pros and cons of each.
Love the content. Since you have done a review on Auraspeed 100x + Arcsaber 7 Pro and commented on the ease of use for both racquets, which one is your preferred racquet?
the 100X is a repulsion racket, the 7 Pro is a hold racket. Both have different characteristics

I'm looking for my old and current love Armortec 800 Defensive (4UG5) replacement. Can you recommend similar racket within the current generation because Armortec spec and feature are a bit misleading.
I'd say the Astrox 88S and D Pro would be a good upgrade from the AT800D
Hi CK , compared with nanoflare 555 , which is better in terms of speed , power , and so on. Thanks in advance 😃

How does the Arc 7 PRO compare to the OG ArcSaber 10? long time ARC 10 user and hoping they bring back the ARC 10 as a PRO model!
Thanks. I watched a lot of your videos. Now I like to pick one all around good racket with easy swing. Which one you prefer among, arc 7 pro, 11 pro, axforce 80, 9000D or victor TK Claw Taizhiyin? Thanks
11 Pro 👌
@@CKYew Thank you so much. That makes it easy. I appreciate it.
Thanks. Very details review. I’ve been watching your channel for while but this is the first time I comment.
How do you compare 11 pro and Astrox 88D pro, both 4U versions? I see 11 pro quite similar to 88D pro.
Thanks.
11 Pro is easier to play with 👌
@@CKYew thanks. I’m using 88D pro 4U and 1000z 3U. I don’t know why I feel like I can defend better with 88D pro. Do you think because 1000z stiffer ?
I’m looking for a racket for back up. Can you give me some advice?
How does the 11 Pro & 7 Pro compare to the Duora series? Is it only worth it when looking for a 4U even balance racket?
no right or wrong answer here but you'll just have to try it for yourself!
@@CKYew I bought Arcsaber 7 Pro (Exbolt 65) - 1st time. Astrox 100 Game & Duora 7 (all medium flex) definitely more powerful smash. 100 Game is slower than 7 Pro & Duora 7 because head heavy. Harder to play a fast paced doubles game unless tactic is to overpower opponent which can lead to arm injury. 7 Pro is great for drives & delaying net shots & lifts. Like it so much got a 7 Play to play when having to play with those players who swing (backhand/forehand) at everything down the middle. Most likely will string with BG80, Gosen, or Ashway. It will be interesting to see if shots will be as accurate as 7 Pro.
Sounds like you had a good time!! 👍🏼👍🏼
@@CKYew I'll have to see the price difference between Aerobite & Exbolt to choose strings.
Hello, could you please also mention the difference between the same rackets but play version? Is this comparison also valid for 11 play vs 7 play?
i give my best to help you out since i have the 7 play and 11 play....
in short the 7 play are the most userfriendly and light head, its very suitable for beginners = but the downside is no power for intermediate/advanced player.
on the other side , the 11 play for me was the best... still got the agile and precise feelings like the 7 , but it got more power because its more head heavy. so its a perfect choice for me who plays all around in court.
@@Kevin.yuwono Hello! Thank you for your reply! I already bought 11 play and restringed it with bg-65 ~26 lbs tension.
For me, feels a bit different comparing to any other racket, but I play well with it. In my childhood when I played in the badminton school, I had Ti-5 (if you remember this series), it was headlight. This one is kinda different to any other kind of racket I tried, you don't have some clear weight position. Feels nice to me, but I think, I had to play about a week with it to understand it's performance.
Also, I'd say that 11 play is quite stiff. So without restringing you will not feel how it actually works under the pressure. After restringing, I felt how it bends when smashed.
Overall, I'd say it is a good racket, but it will not play instead of you :). 99% skill and 1% racket. I'd say string tension means more than the racket xD. A racket should be better than mass-market, this is enough to win any game. I'd say, it is good when you like how the racket looks and how it feels personally to you. The good racket -- the one which you WANT to take and play with it. When you play, you learn. After you learn, you win :)
oh my gosh stickers
Fingers crossed!
I used to play with the arcsaber 9 but i broke it and i'm considering switching to the arcsaber 11 pro but i am not sure i can handle it. Should i get the arcsaber 7 pro or the 11 pro
Very Good Review. Thank You so much. I think Malaysian Women Superstar Pearly Tan is using both 7 pro and 11 pro?
Nope, she only use 7 pro, previously 88s pro
If you get the AS7 pro/tour, is it worth also getting a NF700 or NF800? looking to try a few racquets that's not too head heavy
I normally advise getting the same rackets for consistency but I thoroughly promote the NF800!!
@@CKYew that makes sense! I'm a sucker for trying new things 😂
But also want to move away from head heavy as I am getting older 😂 so need a slow transition period
You and me both!! 😂😂
@@CKYew so I picked one up on marketplace since the price was reasonable. Whilst the forehand smash isn't strong like the 100zz, I find my backhand smash/whip is much stronger. Clearly I'm too weak when using a heavier racquet but I am definitely enjoying a head lighter racquet. Similarly enjoying the TKF. Selling off my 100zz to get another tkfe/as7p. I am a bit worried about the NF800 still with many people reporting how fragile it is :(
Niceeeeee

Awesome as always, thanks CK Yew. How you compare with auraspeed 100x?
100X is a repulsion racket. This is a hold racket so this feels slightly softer
@@CKYew Thanks man! I stick with my arc11pro then.
Hi CK, great video as always! I was wondering if you would say the arcsaber 7 pro is a direct replacement for the arcsaber 11 (2013)? Personally, I can generate same power with the arcsaber 11 compared to 100zz but with less strain to the shoulder. Having the 11 discontinued, i am looking at 11pro and the 7pro as a replacement. Not sure if the 11pro is too stiff for me to handle (phobia from the 100zz). Would highly appreciate your thoughts! Thanks.
Noooo, the 7 Pro feels too head light to be a direct replacement for the 11. The 11 Pro feels different to the old school 11 but its probably as close as you get. Otherwise, it'll be the Astrox 88S Pro imo
@@CKYew Thank you for that information! I think you are on point. I watched your in-depth review on the 88S pro and the 77 pro, seems like both are fairly even-balanced or just slightly towards head-heavy. If you need it, its always good to get it whilst they're still in stock 😬😬
I know a few players using 88D Pro who want to buy a 88S Pro. They find the 88D Pro has a powerful smash but when they are on the defensive their swing is too slow. They just need to be able to find a 88S Pro to purchase.
I recently purchased a Astrox 100 Game. I prefer medium flex. There is power but I prefer the Duora series rackets as I can run around the court much quicker (even balance vs head heavy). Of course, everyone has their preference. I used to use head heavy rackets.

Our set of 4 had these measurements. Plastic wrapped unstrung. 300 85.2, 302 84.9, 302 84.7, 304mm 85.7g
Hello! love the content! can you do a review for Axforce 90 pleaseeee=)
I will do when they arrive
Is it better than Nanoflare 800? I never actually tried head-light racquets.
Its up to your personal preference. 👍
Is the Yonex 65Z 3 better than the yonex comfort Z2?
Its down to your personal preference. There is an updated Comfort Z3 model too
I am agreed which 7 pro feel soft and light but use bg80 string make it perfect when u smash to opponent and good in slice..love this 7 pro than my 100zz haha
Hii CK love from philippines, my friend is planning to buy a yonex racket, his a fast reaction, and good agility, he said he wants a 28+lbs string tension which racket would u recommend for him
Any of the top end Yonex frames would fit lol! Its down to what he/she prefers
