11:31 No, because he wasn't summoned when he was 11. Kids who are summoned under the age of 10 typically die within 5 years. These kids were not just summoned but have already been summoned for a few years. So they don't have much time left.

@@BrianxStephanie Yeah. Shizu was summoned while deeply wishing to survive the fire, so she gained a skill. But virtually all summoned kids don't gain a unique or extra skill, and the excess magicules run rampant and eventually burn up their bodies.
The FF they mention is final fantasy.
The children already been there for awhile, don't forget Rimuru is been in this world for 2 years ,the children were summon before Rimuru reincarnation.They have about 1-2 year to live more less if situation isn't fixed .
They skip few things ( probably because of certain battle) ,ID was obtained in different manner and some diplomacy deals among other things were skipped.
Yeah. And Yuuki was their longer and basically graduated under Shizu.

Well, they don't exactly explain the 'Summon' thing very well. This is gonna be kinda long (surprisingly so, in fact. Maybe it's not so surprising most of it got cut...) so bare with me. (EDIT: WOW, this turned out even longer than I thought it would. Umm....Sorry?)
So, the world Rimuru died in was a purely physical world, with no magic/magicules, so everyone is 'normal'. When someone from there travels over into the new world, which is sort of 'between' a purely physical world and purely spiritual world, they need to be 'remade' to adapt to the whole 'magic' environment, which leads to them having a lot of natural magic(magicule) reserves, and due to it's nature, leads to the development of powerful Unique Skills that make use of that magic, based on the desires of those crossing over (Rimuru's dying wishes becoming Skills and Resistances in his new life, including two Unique Skills).
These overpowered abilities make such humans powerful existences, able to go toe to toe with even high-class monsters, which normal humans would never hope to defeat outside of the most exceptional circumstances. This makes even one such human far more valuable than even an entire nation's army when it comes to defense, and in a world rife with True Dragons, Demon Lords, and Higher Majin, this is very important. On the other hand, those who cross over naturally are rare, and unpredictable, not to mention you need to find some reason to convince them to use this great power to protect you in the first place, which is where Summoning comes in.
When Summoning, their mages can pull someone over from that other world, and due to the Curse, guarantee that they have someone rather powerful at their beck and call. On the other hand, it takes a team of rather strong mages quite a bit of effort to summon even one individual, and there's a long, long recovery time needed before a subsequent Summoning can even be attempted, so in order to best increase the number of potential Summons who can help them fight against threats, the various countries decided to lessen the burden of the Summoning as much as possible, to make repeated attempts easier, hence why they started summoning children, who are much easier to summon.
However, children are young, and don't really have such well-defined or fixed 'desires' yet, so many of them never really develop any powerful Skills when crossing over, so the extra magic that they gain through the summoning has no outlet for release, leading it to just continue to build up over time in the child's bodies. Within five years of being summoned, this build up is so great that it ends up destroying them from the inside out. Even with the lessened Summoning burden allowing for such 'failures', however it's still considered more practical to keep trying this method until they can get a 'hits', than use up all their resources for only one success, yet those who fail to develop Unique Skills are basically just dead children walking as far as the other countries are concerned, hence why Shizu was aloud to take them. Shizu, having been one such child, wishes to somehow save these children; a desire she has passed on to Rimuru as part of her regrets.

Milim isn't as gullible as you think. The only times she gets "tricked" or "manipulated" is when she lets people "trick" or "manipulate" her in order to alleviate her own boredom, if only for a little bit. So you could say that she is always the one who gets the final laugh.

They don't need to do that right know , It's better to finish this soon and have a closed ending with Shion ark , if they have a season 2 they will have time to do the diplomacy , why would they waste time doing something "boring" that would never be useful to the anime if they don't make a second season ,and even if they make ,maybe only release in 2 to 3 years and nobody would remember anyway.
They only have 24 story episodes, 2 Veldora Diaries side stories, and 1 OVA to work with. So that May come as a Blu Ray OVA stuff.

It’s a Pity about this episode because originally the three humans that came with Shizu, is not the ones that end up bringing Rimuru to this city.
I would have loved to see their reactions to the group becoming lost, Rimuru clearing the forest of illusion flowers and when Rimuru took a battle test for his ID. There’s so much missing.

The Manga Monthly Magazine, that Rimuru printed out, Gekan shonen-sirius (shonen-sirius.com) is the Magazine hosting for the Manga of "THAT TIME I GOT REINCARNATED AS A SLIME" and other LN's Manga version. Land of the Lustrous is also included in this magazine. Not spoilers just highlights and recap of what was already shown/mentioned in the anime. You can rewatch EP1 where Veldora already explained, the 3 types of people transferred to this world; A) "転生者" (Tenseisha) "Reincarnated", B) "異世界人" (Isekaijin) "Otherworlders", C) "召喚者" (Shokansha) "Summoned". "転生者" (Tenseisha) "Reincarnated" itself is very rare not to mention a unique monster type slime, Rimuru fall under this "召喚者" (Shokansha) category. Yuuki and Hinata fall under "異世界人" (Isekaijin) "Otherworlders" category, those who occasionally comes into this world from the other worlds, Shizu-san and Kids fall under 召喚者" (Shokansha) "Summoned" category, where they are summoned into this world. Also, the fact that Velodora knew about 3 types of people transferred to this world before he is sealed, means there are lots of these type of people who are "Otherworlders" & "Summoned" in this world already, thus the technologies, cultures and buildings structures from our world. Such as the Orge village, why they are so olden day Japanese style. Actually, a lot of bits and pieces of information are already shown in the Anime, you just need to rewatch them to get a better picture of how things work. Yuuki the Grand Master is also one of Shizu's student, Shizu mentioned in EP8 where she passed away after being separated with Ifrit and returned to her original old age. Hinata and Yuuki were like the 1st batch of Shizu's students, and from Yuuki conversation with Rimuru regarding what anime/manga were ended and games series are until when, which means the period they came into this world is much earlier than Rimuru. The kids are her last batch of students. Hinata's relationship with Shizu was also mentioned in EP8. This episode officially introduced Hinata, the girl you see in OP1 that fought with Rimuru. This episode basically tells us what happened if someone under 10 years old is being summoned to this world. The over excess mana within them that their body won't be able to take it will kill them within 5 years after being summoned. Ok, now here is the question, do you see the links from all the given clues from the anime and get the big picture here? Hints, remember how old and when Shizu-san is being summoned to this world? See the similarity and difference? Shizu-san wants to help these kids because they are very much like her, summoned to this world under 10 years old and helplessly waiting to die. Shizu san was actually on the verge of dying by the fire from the bomb of an air raid, she responded to the summon to save her out of the situation. However, she was already badly burned and dying. You know what happened next right? Leon noticed that she seems to have a fire affinity skill and thus offer her body to the Superior Spirit Ifrit (Ifrit is not considered a demon). Ok, back to the question, although being summoned at under 10 years old, and on the verge of dying with over 50% burn, Shizu-san survived and lived more than 50++years, as EP 7 have mentioned that Shizu-san was the Conqueror of Flames, who was the hero of the Guild from 50years ago. This episode, Rimuru mentioned that the Kids is why Shizu-san made up her mind to go see/find the Demon Lord Leon. So why did Shizu-san who wants to save the kids, When she knew that as time passed she is unable to have full control of Ifrit as she is aging and losing power, with fear of endangering people around her and yet decided to go find Demon Lord Leon before she fully lost control of Ifrit. Did you manage to see the big picture and guess the answer now? There are lots of bits and pieces of information and hints spread out throughout the episodes, you need to rewatch/review them to able to put them together to see the big picture, like solving a jigsaw puzzle.)

Yuuki is not meant to be the main villain in light novel because he only wants to dominate the world and make it a better place where everyone is equal unlike in web novel where he wants to destroy the world.
