Pocket grandpa lol I love it
It’s so great. It’s just so much fun. Completely intuitive, great guide docs. Fun as heck. Looping and mashing and random modes are just “chef kiss”.
so kind thanks!!
Locking pitch to tempo is AMAZING. I’ve been looking for a phrase sampler that did this by default for years!!!!
Typo correction in description: the "favorite fx combos" section should be at 17:09, not 16:12.
As a musician and programmer, this video was so inspiring to watch. Thank you for sharing!!
(AUDIENCE APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Amazing release. All the details on this machine are awesome & beatiful implemented.
Damn this is incredibly well thought out, you managed to really pack it with options. I just sent out the order for a diy kit, can't wait to load up a bunch of samples and get into it
This looks like a hell of a cool thing
also, not only do you make rad hardware, but your video guides are top notch too. thanks!
Thanks Zack for this clear even-paced tutorial. Very easy to follow along
Yep ordered instantly this is gonna be fun
Amazing work on this!
You grabbing one? ❤
@@Thedrumsthebass I can't justify buying a new sampler that can't sample directly right now, but I'd like to try it out anyway :)
This is a set of incredible tools. Just awesome!
so sick man. excellent work. And really cool that you made it open source. Are we able to use the the tool with the zeptoboard? Excited to mess around and possibly contribute, but this thing is so feature packed, im not even sure what could be added at this point haha.
zeptoboard is fully compatible with the tool!
Great video. Mine should be arriving this weekend. Very excited.
Really can't wait to see what the ectocore is :)
Well timed! My unit is on its way. Love the tempo display image
it's on the way. beyond excited!
Little suggestion: Seems so you have great development capabilities. Is there any way to develop a gear like this but for realtime fx audio like the Timetosser device? This would be awesome. Thanks 😉
And: Allready ordered a Zeptocore today 👍
yeah totally! if you want to DM me I can suggest some things (@infinitedigits on instagram)
love this yoke 🔥 👾 ❤
When uploading samples, can you replace one sample at a time rather than the entire bank of 16? And is it possible to restore the default samples?
the default samples are available at zeptocore.com. and you can replace one sample at a time, by copying and pasting the sample files (0.0.wav, 0.1.wav, etc.) into a new bank.
this is all genius!!!!!
« Single-cycle wavetable synthesizer » this intrigues me. Is it the bass mode in the tutorial?
yes it is! there is no way to change the wavetable atm, but in a future update I'm planning on it
@@infinitedigits being an old school tracker minded person, Single-cycle wave always gets my attention! Really interesting!
Awesome!! Looking to buy.
Can it output 16 Tracks of MIDI for the 16 Tracks that it has?
Thanks
it has three different tracks - "jump" mode, "mash" mode, and "bass" mode. these different tracks do output onto different tracks of MIDI (each button press)
Damm dude! Already have the pikocore now it got to get this one
this, is the zeptocore.
Now that I have one I have so many questions. I’ve read the faq and everything. Main thing is clock weirdness, I’ve tried to clock it with so many different things (pocket operator, Roland 606, RK-006) and have gotten varied results. Any way to adjust clock input volume to something? Mines just jumping all over the place
can you message me - zack@infinitedigits.co, it sounds like you might have a problematic unit
the button combos. I've got my hands full with Roland.
How easy would it be to trigger the buttons externally?
Im thinking how fun it would be to trigger via my electronic drums but might be wishful thinking?
Ordered one anyway! Looks amazing
its in a coming update to trigger the buttons with MIDI IN from external devices :) but you can already do it with MIDI in the browser with javascript (just goto zeptocore.com in Chrome)
@@infinitedigits thanks for the info..
So I'll need your Itty Bitty module then? Not using a computer for MIDI...
@@themanefaces short answer: yes, if you aren't using a computer. zeptocore isn't a midi host. the itty bitty midi does let you do MIDI in from any DIN/trs cable though. if you do have a computer, you can use the USB MIDI too
You maniac; this is madness.
Is the zeptocore compatible to be clocked from a eurorack modular trigger signal? And/or gate signal?
And does it come with an SD of breaks/one-shots?
Oh, and sequencing the effects @18:25 just sold me on this thing
yes to all!
@@infinitedigits wow! Respect 🙏
@@infinitedigitshey, thought diy were now available, but they're all showing as out-of-stock?
@@WillisZzz i updated the stock now. they are available. not many left though, will be a month or so before I can restock
Does this device have the ability to input-record samples?
no, it doesn't have the ability to record on the device. samples should be recorded elsewhere and then put onto the device
Love it. Would be cool if you could upload samples over webmidi sysex and avoid working with files / SD
its definitely possible to do! it is very slow though :(
It really needs a case. Please someone. Static is a problem for me.
case is in the works
@@infinitedigitsDich studios? Or something else?

There isn’t a single 5 seconds of something even close to being musical in this 30 minute video.
I cannot wait for it to arrive💜🟣🟣🟣
