Voodoo Vince Any% Speedrun in

Sub 1:30 finally happened! Fanboat skip saved the two minutes needed to accomplish this, and despite failing quite a bit after getting it due to the nerves this was a great run! Also, thanks to Forge for finding the OOB trick in the Butler that saved an additional 20 seconds on the route that I had recently developed.
This is just insane. Please check out the Voodoo Vince speedrun community as well - none of this would have been remotely possible without their discoveries!

Oh dude massive props to you for having the world record and shaving away as much time as you can!! This is my favorite childhood game and finding out the cool out of bounds techs and discovering glitches I never knew about!
Although I have to ask, have you tried the classic version of the game and just prefer the remaster over it? Although in theory I feel like the classic wouldnt hold as many tightly knit OoB like the remaster does.

Thank you! I have done speedruns of the original version as well! - th-cam.com/video/aCknVi5t2qk/w-d-xo.html is my most recent Any% PB on that version. It's about 10 minutes slower than the remaster, mainly due to loading times and the increased difficulty of many of the tricks in the game. Some tricks are not possible on that version as well (as far as I can tell), so it will always lag behind the remastered in terms of how low the record can go.

The carnival ride platforming was starting to drive me insane and the out of bounds clip straight to the exit is just what I needed🙏

Hey im super into running this. I am just so lost on how you do the door skip to stop the kosmo animation at the start. do I need to clip it as its opening.

The kosmo skip at the start is one of the harder tricks to do, so don't stress about it too much when starting. You don't need to clip it as its opening, it's mainly about getting as close to the wall as possible without slamming your head into it and timing jumps well.
