This is called "Voodoo" for an reason
@Martin Gray that’s what a voodoo doll is made for
But that dosn't count against his HP or life counter. If he dosn't lose zombie dust, it only counts as dammage for his enemys.

that cutscene before you fight the mutant alligator boss is SO my favorite. XD

Honestly, I have never seen the living statue boss in my life.
Must be part of the remaster- adding some new things to the game. I saw some of the original game’s bossfights and noticed a few differences to this.

@@adekaiwamisou Based on the speedruns I've seen, and my personal playthrough of the original, the remaster added a lot of bugs. (Which is good for speedrunners, but bad for casual players.)

The reason for this, so I've heard, is that the original ran on a custom specialised engine, while the remaster was made on a generic industry standard one.

Why would you need to dodge enemy attacks? It just doesn't add up
A bit of a spoiler if you didn't play or watched someone play the full game of Voodoo Vince.
According to Madame Charmaine in the beginning of the game, since Vince is a voodoo doll, many dangerous things can't harm him. She did state, however, to beware of Evil Magic and that Kosmo and his monsters can harm Vince. I think that anytime Vince is attacked by an enemy, he takes damage because the monster is created by Evil Magic, which can harm him. However, if he hurts himself in a way that doesn't involve Evil Magic, like being hit by a train or being zapped by lighting, he can just transfer the pain to someone else. After all, that's how you harm multiple enemies in the game.
To shorten it up, if the attack was from something with Evil Magic, Vince will get hurt. If the attack doesn't involve Evil Magic, Vince can transfer the pain to someone else.
That's just what I think though. I could be totally wrong, or I could've hit the target as to why Vince needs to dodge enemy attacks.

Now that I think about it, kinda messed up to theme a boss after a series of natural disasters. Imagine putting a boss in your game modelled after the japanese tsunamis

I keep telling people not to mess with an original so it feels like I'm talking to myself and some people say if you talk to yourself you might be a little strange but if you start answer yourself you know you've gone crazy that's what it feels like if you put yourself in my shoes it would be nice if someone finally listened what I am saying don't mess with a classic I just wish people would actually listen but they don't and that's really starting to annoy me I'd appreciate if at least one person would show other people how your ruining a good game or a good movie I want people to realize that they took something nice and put their sick twisted ideas into a piece of history and deface it
