my iphone x had a good run. i got it on release and switched to a s21 ultra when it came out and haven't upgraded since. I tend to use one phone for many years.
@@Mactydepends on how much you pay for it . iphone x is using oled so for used iphone it is not so outdated but you need to know that this device get warm nowada due to app is getting bigger
I’ve had an iPhone 10 since they came out. Thought I’d have to upgrade it but apart from not being able to get IOS17, after watching your video, I think I’ll stick with it for a bit longer. Thanks for this video, you’ve saved me some money!
Even if the software support is dropped you still get a lot security updates. Plus ios 17 literally didnt change that much comepare to ios 16. I have an Iphone SE 2020 and I might consider buying this one because the battery life on this is absolute garbage.
@@finng745 they're not dense, you just deem the phone worthless right after the software udpates end which is definitely NOT the main thing in a phone. a phone can update and still be garbage. the real deal comes when a phone that cannot update anymore works incredibly well DESPITE the lack of updates and feels new or barely used at the very least.
@@dianamagritte when software support drops the manufacturer has abandoned the device, meaning not only the phone reaches EoL in the sense of new features, but most importantly security updates. That a phone is being updated doesn’t per definition mean the phone is good, but when the phone stops receiving updates it’s a horrible idea to purchase it.

I’m one of those that have had the X since launch. Still my daily. Due for a new battery soon. Love the size and low weight. Also have a 14 Pro.
What kind of screen on time did you get with it at 100 percent battery health?

Its sad that it wont get IOS 17
You can use an iPhone even without new IOS update, it's just that it won't be getting new features.
You’ll still get security updates

Once software support drops the answer is no. Objectively you are wrong.

Not worth it. iOS17 is out.
That phone will be a brick in a year or so, once security updates are no longer provided ;)
