Even after 6 years I still remember this crazy sound of the McLaran and the La Ferrari passing by in this video! I really wish I could hear it in person flying by on a track! The only good cars I ever heard in real life were cars like Audi RS3, RS5, R8 - V10 and some Mercedes AMGs and the RS3 and R8 sounded pretty good in real life! There would be nothing better than a straight piped RS3 with its 5 cylinder sound!

Here's the thing: the F1 is still the world's fastest naturally aspirated car. The Veyron would've lost the race it had against it were it not for the quad turbo it had.

I disagree with your statement that Bugatti created the original hypercar. There was a little car back in the 90's called McLaren F1 which ran over 240mph and didn't need a 16 cylinder engine and 4 turbos to do it.

There's also the Jaguar XJ220, Mercedes CLK GTR, and Ferrari F50.
+WarEagleGaming I wouldn't really put the XJ and the F50 on the same level; they're more-so rivals of common supercars like the Aventador or SLS AMG. The CLK on the other hand, you couldn't be more correct; now that is a contending HyperCar.

+Blaine Goodwin nope, the one:1 is the fastest road car on Spa francorchamps beating the P1 with 5 seconds, so it's clearly not slow on a track like a lot of people seem to think. and after 2015 Koenigsegg can test the one:1 at nurburgring becuase currently there is a ban for companies because it's to dangerous.

Most of the Ferrari's featured on TopGear have been owners cars, Nick Mason ring any bells, Ferrari won't let official motor journalists do the race, especially a brand as large as TopGear. Most modern Ferrari's especially their special editions have an invited seller list, a list of clients that are invited to purchase, so most of the hypercars launched are sold out before any journalist can get their meaty hands upon them. The internet as become the road test editors dream, its so quick to make a video and upload it, TopGear was always having to think ahead and make their well edited videos months before the show airs, all the studio stuff was literally done a few weeks prior to the show going out. So the youtube car spotting channels have kind of replaced the hardcore petrolheads fix, for their petrol fuelled needs, and I must say I welcome it, TopGear will have to adopt this quicker style to move with the times. And for what I can see, manufacturers are using more of these types of channels, because its cheaper, and less political when it comes to permissions granted, because at the start of this video there was a disclaimer stating that all the cars are owners cars, well 2 of them are Salomondrins. Which makes the whole process easier.

I know of someone (only online, I'm not trying to claim the person as a friend of anything) that bought a Koenigsegg, had it legally here in the US,...then the story gets questionable. He ended up not being happy with it, and Koenigsegg agreed to take the car back.
