- This was one of the wildest trips of my life.
I have no words for how tired I was, how excited I was and how stressed I was all at the same time. There are few things in life that have made me feel this alive and really look forward to your comments on this one. Flying a kit plane Across South Africa is no small feat.

Great video and a nice little Kit. Did you have Tom fly because it was a new kit, and such a long flight that he he had done before? Cool to see the end where you and your better half saw each other. Is she doing art full time now, or is she still yachting during season. Thanks for sharing the video with us and really happy for you brother. Can't wait to see what new adventures the kit adds to the channel along with yachting.
Tom flew as he is definitely the more experienced and competent pilot especially in this type of plane (taildragger). It was a new plane with low hours and in a circumstance of emergency he’d be able to make a more experienced decision. With all that above, it just made more sense for Tom to be the pilot in command.

I recently came across Trent palmers channel. He flies bush planes around the US. Pretty cool stuff. Growing up my parents had a Christian Husky we’d fly around. Always was fun.
I’m a huge fan of his vids myself. Pretty much watched all of them

Great idea man riding that rescue boat from the bow. Tempting fate...
We are strapped on to the crane in the event the boat drops, we are not going with it. It’s the only way it can be done. And it’s common as a red boat needs crew from the bow

Making a trip like this in a new plane must be the best feeling ever, I understand why you didn't sleep ;)
About the birds, maybe it's beneficial to get some covers to put in when the plane is parked. Keeping birds and other debris or animals out is probably a good idea. KFA might be able to recommend you sth there, or you send out the dimensions to your followers, I bet someone has a 3D printer they really want to use ;).

Thank you for the support bro. Buying this plane is a way that allows me to pump out more content. Also the decline off the algorithm is somewhat justified. Iv been away for a while and the content before this last video has been sub par during these weird times.

It has taught me though to see it as just numbers and not be massively upset like I used to be when videos didn’t do as well.

Beautiful plane. Absolutely HATE the way the music modulates up-down-up-down...
You mean the music is loud or lower for the talking? What many people don’t realize is when you tubers download the audio it comes astronomically loud and each song is at different volumes. I spend huge amounts of time adjusting all my tracks but sometimes I don’t get it perfect. Sorry about that
@@jaredwatney Starting at 9:00 in, the volume "pumps" up and down and up and down like someone is constantly cranking a volume knob between 3 and 8 and 3 and 8, etc. Very irritating.
