- This is a behind-the-scenes of one of the most enjoyable shoots we did in 2023.
We had 2 days to shoot 3 TH-cam videos, capture all their imagery and shoot a charter video.
Motor Yacht Loon is changing the way media is created on yachts and we are so privileged to be asked to film their broker friendly promotional content as well as a few stories of the crew.

Watching Loon Videos and some of your other videos, you know that Loon is a big girl, but this video in particular you get the scale of it all so much more. Those tracking shots as she is in motion make you realise that this girl is so much bigger than you actually think. Great Shots from you and your team.

that's a pretty outstanding short film. the drone flight paths for the build up to yacht was wild. truly top notch. I imagine when a boat is priced a 400+ million it would serve them best to get the best. im not familiar with who else makes these but I've watched a couple thousand since the 90's and this was clearly on the higher end. great work. cheers

Great video! When can we expect the final cut?
I'm wondering how he's getting such flawless interiors from the bathtub without any perspective distortion with all vertical lines running parallel to the edges of the image plus maintaining the orientation of the plane of focus with just a 14 mm wide angle lens. I'm assuming it's a tilt/shift lens, but I couldn't tell in the closeups. I suppose you can correct the aberration in post, but that seems cumbersome. Great quality work all around.
When M/Y Loon needs fresh slap what did they do ? They brought in the best cavalry, the Martin Scorsese of yacht storytelling, the distinguished Mr Watney and team. And interested viewers will be keen to welcome Blair back to the seas and his previous home away from home - inquiring minds do tell ? Meanwhile, there is a new kid on the block, the pesky wee King Benji nipping at Loon's heels in the YT content creation category. Fun to watch. WufWuf !

This is Ocean Air Media promotion. A company that was started by me after scrubbing decks for years. This will be the last loon video for a while but try see it as a realisation of a dream of mine.
Blair left Loon after this. He must have gotten offered alot of money.

Yeah nah, do the forehead shots for the POV, because listening to someone breathe, swallow, and mumble is not ASMR at all.
We almost never use the audio. Forehead shots are not stable.
