Great interview but if it was me doing it the first thing I would ask them is do you think this culture call Hip Hop came from black american culture because when you hear Dr. Colon do his interviews he always bring up his People on what they did for the culture as he should because if not then you leave the Door open for people to keep questioning our culture sad but true but brother Black jack tells it like it is with no beating around the bush. Peace!
I was a child but very coherent, they did nothing! & nothing was wide open until 75-6, the gang member's like the warrior's were in the parks looking dangerous. U couldn't bring no music outside.
@@mbp333 Bro get that interview with mr Biggs to clear up the misinformation the spanish guy pushing because he's lying to much trying to add whites to the creation of hip hop even saying rhyming came from Europe in the 1500s

It's sad to see Krs-One still talking his metaphysical stuff, but not accomplishing much since the early 2000's It looks like he wants Hip Hop to be a religion cause that is constant money, but he's turning hip hop into idol worship, not cool
And he is spreading lies and false narratives. An agenda is clearly in place. And to me the agenda seems to be to whitewash the true origins of hip-hop. Most of the cats who they failed to give props to were gang bangers, and hustlers. Not only that, but they were also black, and not part of this multicultural melting pot that they present the origins of hip-hop to be born from. They only wanna give. props to the middle class hard-working Jamaican immigrant, and the X gang banger-turned community activist. In my opinion, this false narrative makes the origins of hip-hop, more digestible and acceptable for the masses, thus more profitable.
Herc was influenced bye Grandmaster Flowers, John Brown and Dj. Smokey and The Smokeatron, so were Dr. Colon do these ridiculous interviews he always do bring latino how they started the culture.

I agree with. Something about the way he speaks of Hip Hip bothers me sometimes. It like an idol worship religion. No disrespect to KRS1.
