Noora h I think most people look younger because once we put on makeup it accentuates our wrinkles but I would rather that then show my dark spots and dark circles.

They make me look waaay more older but I still watch videos of my fave YTers and always ask myself how can they wear that much make up on their faces 🤔 even when I follow step by step still looks not good and then I get frustrated and my mood goes down Lol

Thought since we’re all a bit bored right now that playing with some colorful makeup looks (when we don’t have to go anywhere lol) could be a fun video idea for you! Maybe try to recreate a look you like, but wouldn’t ordinarily wear.

I think part of the issue with the foundation is that the shades makes you look a little ill. It sallows your skin a bit which is strange. But then again if you moved to a deeper shade, it would be far too dark.
Grace Mcewen yes! I think the undertone is off. It’s the right lightness, darker would be bad, but the undertone is just not right. It also is quite flat.
I absolutely love the colourpop no filter concealer! I have dry under eyes and have noticed a huge difference by applying a hydrating or smoothing primer under my eyes before applying concealer. It really helps smooth everything out!

Hi Jess! Going to watch Tiger King soon. Heard a lot about it. Try the Tower 28 cream blush, the kosas concealer and the roen 52 degree cool palette. You will LOVE the kaja airheart lipstick shade sweetheart since you have pigmented lips it will look like te perfect nude on you it is almost same consistency as the sephora lip clicks. Bit thicker not sticky or gloppy
I love using the Wet N Wild Color Icon "bronzer" in the shade Reserve Your Cabana as an all over finishing powder. I take a big fluffy brush and just brush and buff it into my skin to make sure everything is blended. The powder gives a soft glow and it just makes everything look smooth.
I bought the Too Faced highlighter palette for the first shade and I feel like it is worth it. I will use the glittery one more in summer for sure and I love the subtle middle for days I want a soft glow. I feel like it isn't suited to under eyes ate all though---not milled finely enough,
If u only like a mascara after it drys out a bit but u don't want it to go bad. U can leave it open overnight. If ur too nerves to do it that long, 4-6 hrs will do. I know it sounds scary but it really works
@Jessica Braun you may really like the Bourjois sorbet blush is raspberry. I bought it while I was abroad, but I'm pretty sure you can get it online. It's a liquid gel type blush in a really fresh sheer reddish pink. It's the kind of color that looks like you just came out of the cold, ya know?

Colourpop concealer - I put a super light layer of face oil (I have FAB) under it and it looks so much better. Mine is half gone, and I want to finish it because the color is a good match right now.
I bought myself today the essence lash princess. Also I picked up the elf brow pencil in the white packaging in dark brown. I was struggling to find an eyebrow that didn’t run red and was neutral. I am happy with it! I am at home and I got my hair dyed and I am living in the dark brunette club!

Your description of the Pat McGrath foundation is exactly how I feel about The Ordinary Serum foundation. It's just too watery thin and if my skin isn't super smooth it somehow grabs onto dry spots I didn't know I had.
The Colourpop No Filter concealer is actually my favorite for my under eye concealer. I also use it for my hyper pigmentation on my chin area. I haven't tried every concealer ever made but out of the ones I have tried I think it's great!
I love the colourpop concealer but I have really olive skin so the yellow under tones work just fine for me . I think for your skin tone the beat one I’ve seen is the cover girl I forgot the name but it’s the one with the black and white stripes on the wand top :) I love watching your videos !

Thank you for continuing to make videos. My dad passed unexpectedly last Thursday and because of the coronavirus, I can't be with my mom and brother during this time. I wish my mom watched TH-cam to help distract her because she's no longer speaking to anyone just crying profusely. I'm doing all I can from my house to make arrangements for him so my mom doesn't have to do it. I think my mom is broken. My brother, whom is with her, is trying to caring for her and I'm doing the phone calls to the funeral home and everything else that she can't do right now. So we're super stressed, but at least I can watch your videos and not worry about something upsetting me. ❤
I've never tried the Rollerlash mascara, but I did take note of a tip from another YT beauty person (Cate the Great): she uses Lancome's Monsieur Big mascara first for volume, then applies a coat of the Rollerlash to separate and lengthen. Yeah, that's a lot to go through for a mascara, but if you were trying to use it up, there's a thought. I've heard similar how-tos involving Covergirl's Clump Crusher mascara as well. And, I think I'm the only person on the planet who really likes those Covergirl cream blushes, ROFL! Leave em for meeeeee! Great video and I appreciate your reviews!

i can’t use the colourpop concealer directly under my eyes bc it dries me out. so i’ll use something like bye bye undereye to conceal my dark circles and i use the colourpop one to highlight like in the upside down triangle thing bc it erases my pores and looks SO GOOD
I wonder if you could mix your missha bb cream or a glowy foundation with pat McGrath sublime and see if you can get your money's worth on that! the packaging is beautiful so displaying where you use your every day may prompt you to mix and use more!🤔💕

I hated that TF face palette. The soft focus powder felt way too dry and I don't do glittery highlighter. The regular highlighter was nice but I have better

I have the butterflies blush from Covergirl, and at first when I used it, it really sucked. I gave it another chance by applying the blush directly from the tube onto my cheek (one little dot of blush) and I spread it from the apple of my cheeks then towards the outside of my face, and it worked! Applying it to your hand first is a no go. I get that regardless it shouldn’t be that hard to apply but putting to your cheeks from the tube first helps it sooooo much and now I love it!!! Hopefully this helps :)
I do the same as you, Jessica! If I'm not reaching for a certain item on a regular basis, I give it another try or two to find out why. Once my feelings are confirmed, I get rid of it! Enjoyed this video!
I have the Colourpop concealer and I am also not sure how I feel about it. When I apply it under the eyes, it gets kind of splotchy and moves around as I try to blend it with my sponge. It looks fine while it's still fresh but I feel like it makes my under eyes look more crinkly and tired than they are in person. I would be much better off skipping concealer in this case. Have you tried their newest concealer? If so, what do you think about it?
I would like you to review the new Pur Trolls World Tour pallets in the more neutral colors, Classical and Country Western which look up your alley. Even the Pop which is pink doesn't look over the top

I’m decluttering Nivea Post Shave Balm (Use As A Primer & I Have Hairy Sideburns) I don’t use it like that 2. Elf Cosmetics Jelly POP Primer (Dupe To Milk Hydro Primer) I can’t use it on every foundation & when I’m in a rush that primer gives me hell & it doesn’t last all day. Shopmissa AOA Studio Perfect Filter Primer Dont like it with foundation, it would look better with a BBCream or C.C Cream ( NOT SURE I MIGHT KEEP)

I really hoped to love the colour pop concealer but it is way to drying for me, and I tend to be more on the oily side. I honestly thought it would be a perfect concealer.
Just like I like your natural brows, I also like your natural nails. I "get" that the powder dip look perfect for weeks and I loved that part of them too, but they just damaged my nails so much and I didn't like making the time to get them redone, even every month. Anyway! I don't think you need to curl your fingers under to spare us from your natural nails in close-ups. :) They look fine. I found putting oil on them twice a day helped them a lot.

Same! I try to do the same when things are sitting around. I like the blush. I didn’t have issues with it with my fingers or a small stipple brush.

This is a great way to do one last test before decluttering. I think the mascara looked nice but it’s not great waiting months for that point.

try using the cream blush before applying your powder. maybe that will help blend it.

I've never tried the Rollerlash mascara, but I did take note of a tip from another YT beauty person (Cate the Great): she uses Lancome's Monsieur Big mascara first for volume, then applies a coat of the Rollerlash to separate and lengthen. Yeah, that's a lot to go through for a mascara, but if you were trying to use it up, there's a thought. I've heard similar how-tos involving Covergirl's Clump Crusher mascara as well. And, I think I'm the only person on the planet who really likes those Covergirl cream blushes, ROFL! Leave em for meeeeee! Great video and I appreciate your reviews!

i can’t use the colourpop concealer directly under my eyes bc it dries me out. so i’ll use something like bye bye undereye to conceal my dark circles and i use the colourpop one to highlight like in the upside down triangle thing bc it erases my pores and looks SO GOOD
I like the colourpop concealer as a spot concealer but not under eye. I think it's a little too dry for undereye.
i like the too faced powder to set my face but i’ve already hit hard pan on it! i seriously have only used it 4 times, ughhhh
I wonder if you could mix your missha bb cream or a glowy foundation with pat McGrath sublime and see if you can get your money's worth on that! the packaging is beautiful so displaying where you use your every day may prompt you to mix and use more!🤔💕
Maybe try mixing the PML foundation with drop of a darker foundation?❤️

Isn't it a big relief, to be able to finally let it GO... I think so, and I am going to FOLLOW YOUR EXAMPLE. I KNOW I have things I have kept around in the same way, I HATE to to finally realize I bought some expensive item (like the PM foundation) and it's just NOT GOOD. I find that when I buy a mascara. I leave it open for an hour and when you let it dry out it works better.
Hi Jessica! Great video!! Since you kept mentioning the dryness of the powder and the concealer, do you think maybe you’d need a more hydrating moisturizer and eye cream under these products?
The key with that foundation is using a brush. It’s awful with a sponge.

I have the butterflies blush from Covergirl, and at first when I used it, it really sucked. I gave it another chance by applying the blush directly from the tube onto my cheek (one little dot of blush) and I spread it from the apple of my cheeks then towards the outside of my face, and it worked! Applying it to your hand first is a no go. I get that regardless it shouldn’t be that hard to apply but putting to your cheeks from the tube first helps it sooooo much and now I love it!!! Hopefully this helps :)
I do the same as you, Jessica! If I'm not reaching for a certain item on a regular basis, I give it another try or two to find out why. Once my feelings are confirmed, I get rid of it! Enjoyed this video!
I have the Colourpop concealer and I am also not sure how I feel about it. When I apply it under the eyes, it gets kind of splotchy and moves around as I try to blend it with my sponge. It looks fine while it's still fresh but I feel like it makes my under eyes look more crinkly and tired than they are in person. I would be much better off skipping concealer in this case.

Just like I like your natural brows, I also like your natural nails. I "get" that the powder dip look perfect for weeks and I loved that part of them too, but they just damaged my nails so much and I didn't like making the time to get them redone, even every month. Anyway! I don't think you need to curl your fingers under to spare us from your natural nails in close-ups. :) They look fine. I found putting oil on them twice a day helped them a lot.
