When you say you bought a whole bunch of Korean and Asian beauty stuff to test, I hope that means you're going to make a video about it? I would love to see your haul.
The Ordinary products have literally changed my acne prone, scaring, oily skin I swear by their products because I’ve never felt good about my skin until after using them😭🙏🏻
Tabitha Glycolic Acid 7% toner Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution Those 4 products are what I used :) pretty much all of them except niacinamide are suggested for scars. I also now moved up from retinoid 2% to 5%.
Tabitha Rose hip oil is also amazing for scaring! If you look at the website they also have suggestions for product regimens depending not your needs :)

The Rosehip oil does break me out. I tried The Ordinary Marula Oil and it’s been brilliant. You’re right about different oils and break outs. You just have to find what works for you.

Thanks for sharing this. I'm five years out of my accutane treatment. I'm looking forward to your review on the Korean Beauty products. I've recently purchased some Korean products and have been blown away by how good make-up looks.
The kate somerville exfoliator is not really good for skin with allll the fragrance and essential oils in it, plus the physical scrub aspect of it. If anyone has sensitive skin would not recommend, be careful
Matt I think this routine is specific for a really built up skin. Using an AHA and BHA in the same night, even if it’s just once a week, is a good example
@@Peachessxo if it works for her thats great, lol but still i dont think most ppl will need soo much exfoliation. plus she has a lot of fragrance and essential oils in her products even though she says she stays away from fragrance lol
Essential oils aren’t bad for your skin unless you have specific skin sensitivities to it. They aren’t the same as perfumes and chemicals. I am definitely in the boat where AHAs and BHAs regularly keep my skin from looking disgusting and broken out. Huge difference when I don’t use it. Chemical exfoliates are much better/safer than physical ones. it’s important to get off all that dead skin off regularly in order to aid cell turn over, and allow your other products to penetrate your skin properly.
I saw reduce acne scarring and I clicked SO fast, this girl needs all your tips and tricks! Gotten into skincare in the last year but so have tons to learn

I just recently used up the Paula's Choice Omega Complex moisturizer and found that for my combo skin it was definitely more beneficial to use during the wintertime and at night. Not something I would use in the summer though since my skin tends to be more oily. Definitely better for dry skin types 🙂
Good Molecules is the best! So many products from them in my routine and I swear they’ve made the biggest difference in my skin. Love their Niacinamide toner, daily brightening serum, discoloration serum, exfoliating serum, Rosehip seed oil, and their cleansing bar ❤️ Such a great affordable brand that has serious results! I haven’t tried the cleansing balm just because I love my Face Halos but it looks amazing as well!
I know a lot of people like that Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant in the dark gray bottle BUT I can't stand how it feels on my skin -- it somehow feels oily ?? I prefer the Paula's Choice Resist Daily Pore-Refining Treatment with 2% BHA in the light blue bottle. I accidentally bought the gray one instead of the blue one the last time I ordered from them and thought I'd try it anyway but I hated the feeling of it so I ended up giving it to my husband and he puts it on his psoriasis [it works really well].
@@taylorwynn I will for sure have to try! Once stuff starts shipping. I have a Neutrogena pore refining toner that I've been using occasionally and I kind of thought I wasn't supposed to use it daily and I have a whole another bottle maybe I'll start to try to use it daily and see how that goes.
Lots of love from a fellow autoimmunity spoonie in Australia. My specialist told me in early February that I should be prepared to self isolate for 6 months as I am on immunosuppressants amongst many other meds. Stay safe🙏🏻from a Swede living downunder 😍❤️😘💋
Missy Maria I have only been out once too since 5th of February. I made my husband take me out to my local nursery + Cafe, as it was just heading in to fall here. I wanted to stock up on more indoor plants, as I find they bring me zen and we all need a bit of that. stay safe and sane ❤️
I found the Nip & Fab Extreme Glycolic Acid Pads on Amazon (about $12) and they're AH-MAZING! I was hesitant to try a chemical exfoliant but I love these and you get 60 pads in the jar. I've been using one a night after cleansing for 3 weeks and it's making a huge difference! ! !
I ordered the Paula’s choice BHA exfoliate since you’ve talked so highly of it. I used it last night for the first time and I swear today my skin already looks so much more.. healthier. It’s crazy. Thank you for the recommendation!!!
I LOVE the Paula's Choice liquid exfoliatiant! I got the AHA gel exfoliatiant too and I use that at night. I got the 10% and 20% niacenamide too. All these products have changed my skin.
We have such similar skin, ( very fair, had acne and went on Accutane, sensitive to fragrance, finicky under eyes when it comes to make up, etc.) I use so many of the same products bc if you recommend something I already know I’ll like it. So I have a recommendation for YOU. If you love a thick night cream, you have to try Estée Lauder-Revitalizing Sumpreme + Night cream. In the blue jar, not the gold. I hate the day time version of that cream, it breaks me out so bad, but the night cream has been life changing for me. It’s the best I’ve ever used and you can always get free travel sizes with free gift or get it 15% off at Macy’s.
Great video! You need to try Niod Vaccination, beautiful thick cream for nighttime. I’ve been using it for a few months now and I haven’t had a single breakout and my skin looks and feels amazing! 💕
I bought a mini of the Paula’s Choice BHA based off of your recommendation a few days ago- their mini products were on sale and there was free shipping! I’ve used it twice now and already notice a difference, I’m honestly shocked. I have stubborn skin and have tried so many different AHA / BHA formulas over the last couple of years. Definitely going to try a few more of your recommended products!
Molly Smith I always hated bha. I felt it did nothing for my skin. Then I tried Paula’s. Game changer. I’ve used it for about 5 years now and cannot be without it. You really can’t go wrong with any of Paula’s Choice products!
Julep has a night cream, that, while thinner, stays on overnight and you still feel hydrated when you wake up. I love washing it off in the morning and having fresh, plump skin as my base.
I've been going on my clear skin journey right along with you! I came across First Aid Beauty's Facial Radiance Pads and I swear by them! They've improved my texture tremendously and are affordable. I cut mine in half or in thirds to get more use out of them ❤
EM yep, that’s true! They share a TON of formulas all across L’Oreal companies. The PD team is actually in control of what is formulated and developed, and they often will say “I want this serum to feel like this _____product. Are they under L’Oreal?”. If so, they just copy the formula and repackage it.
Britt Conester thank you Lol yeah the L’Oréal. Every time people compare L’Oreal locks to L’Oreal drugstore I’m like y’all know this is the same fucking company right
@@Emmirene totally! They basically use the same exact formulas for both product lines a lot of the time- they get larger discounts the higher the volume, so it ends up being a super cheap formula the majority of the time (sorry I’m a year late 😂)
I've been loving the ordinary granactive retinoid recently! It's the first retinoid that i've been able to use through the adjustment period, and it now gives me similar results to what topical tretinoin did for me, but with no irritation. Only issue is it expires fast, but buy the lower concentration one and work up to using more than a few drops nightly and you should be fine
Thank you so much for posting this! I had to do two rounds of Accutane several years ago, and I still have some bad breakouts every so often. My skin is super dry, super sensitive, and extremely fair so I appreciate you so much! ☺️
I am loving the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Cleanser for Normal to dry skin. It is amazing. It is definitely similar to the Cerave hydrating cleanser but my face feels cleaner and more hydrated with the La Roche one.
Coming back to this video, the Paula’s Choice Liquid Exfoliant works wonders!! I bought the travel size to try it and it’s cleared so much of my stubborn under-the-skin acne (that I’ve literally had for years) after using for a few days. I feel like my skin looks smoother overall also! Thanks Taylor!!
Came back to watch this again, just to refresh myself on your current skincare favorites. Ended up ordering both the Paula's Choice exfoliant and the Supergoop Glowscreen SPF. I'm excited to try both and see what they do for my skin.
I heard you can’t use adapalene with BHA so you might have to alternate nights. I’ve been using the paulas choice for about 5 years and will always repurchase! I love it. I use it in the mornings under sunscreen and the differin gel at night :)
I bought the Paulas Choice one after your last empties video, and I can see a difference on my skin. Less bumpy and smaller pores. I also bought the Paulas Choice Calm moisturizer and they work so good together!
You should check out the Inkey list new Oat Cleansing balm! It’s amazing, I like it way more than Good Molecules and Clinique. Fragrance free, with oat oil and colloidal oatmeal, great for soothing dry skin. Also doubles as a hydrating mask. Currently sold out at Sephora but worth checking out when it restocks! Only $10
I was surprised when she said that the CeraVe hydrating cleanser burns her eyes, because it doesn't bother my eyes at all (and I have very sensitive eyes).
Idk what it is, but ceraVe burns my entire face. Which is bizarre because My face isn’t sensitive! Works wonders for my sister though! I must be allergic to something in it (not hyaluronic acid, never heard of that being a thing, as it draws water into your skin and moisturizes)
I use the same amount of cleansing balm, and love the textures, but i do have to use that amount or less for it to be worth it. 3 oz of cleansing balm and 6oz of oil cleanser are usually around the same price point, but a balm i would call good will spread further
the mario badescu hylaronic eye cream has helped my undereyes so much and it's affordable and fragrance free. their buttermilk moisturizer is awesome and has helped calm my skin so much.
I just screamed like a girl at Justin Bieber concert when I saw that you liked my comment... I’m 28 years old lmao I promise I am an “adult” whatever that means lol
For me, CeraVe hydro cleanser kinds stings and kicks up my rosacea. I’ve been using La Roche-Pasay TOLERIANE HYDRATING GENTLE FACIAL CLEANSER. It does not sting or flare my issues. It’s worth adding a few more bucks to upgrade to LRP.
Love your skincare videos!! A great toner is the Klairs Supple Preparation. I get the unscented version because I am quite sensitive, and it is so hydrating and calming on my skin!
If you start using adapalene again I would love another video. I had terrible acne until I started using Epiduo Forte but now I can’t use BHA products. It’s dried out my skin so I’ve used a ton of your recommendations for cleansers and moisturizers so far.

I would LOVE to see a face mask video! I've been dealing with like under the skin skin bumps and I need recommendations!
Dude for under the skin bumps...the Paula choice stuff will do more than any face mask I’ve tried
Stay safe🙏🏻from a Swede living downunder 😍❤️😘💋
swedishlina I’m immunosuppressed too, and I’ve been only gone out twice in the past 5 weeks. 😭
Take care of yourself, stay safe. 💕
I love the honeymoon glow and I also love Obasgi 1% Retinol.
Thank you for giving honest feedback on the products and offering affordable alternatives.
I ordered the Paula’s choice BHA exfoliate since you’ve talked so highly of it. I used it last night for the first time and I swear today my skin already looks so much more.. healthier. It’s crazy. Thank you for the recommendation!!!
Lip mask : apply with a Cotton tip. Minimum quantity and use it like a lip gloss applicator. Very hygienic too
I’m almost tempted to try milkmakeup’s moisturizer, but Tatcha’s water cream is my tried and true.
It’s the best I’ve ever used and you can always get free travel sizes with free gift or get it 15% off at Macy’s.
hearing you say that you went through accutane as well as myself makes me feel so much better that i am not the only one
That glowscreen is the bomb!! I absolutely love it!!!
I cut mine in half or in thirds to get more use out of them ❤
Yes!!! so good! I also use Nu Beauty vitamin c serum and Garnier micellar water - game changer
I love the Paula’s Choice BHA. It’s amazing for blackheads.
Wow. I had no idea you could put the rose hoo oil over your moisturize.. that is going to be a game changer for me. THANK YOU LOVE
I love using Murad hydrating toner in the morning instead of a cleanser.
I've seen a huge difference in my skins texture.
Larouche losses and Cerava are both owned by L’Oréal So that could be why they are so similar
Different labs.
virgismar the company I worked for had direct connections to L’Oréal and the rep explained a lot of times they formulate together
I am so, so happy that you are recommending a double cleanse, especially without using makeup wipes as your first step! Makes my heart so happy 💕
Finally someone in the beauty community who knows their skincare! Love this
I heard you can’t use adapalene with BHA so you might have to alternate nights. I’ve been using the paulas choice for about 5 years and will always repurchase! I love it. I use it in the mornings under sunscreen and the differin gel at night :)
I've used the rose-hip oil for years too and rely on it during the winter, scottish winters plays havoc with my skin.
Rose hip oil changed my skin completely post Accutane. All thanks to you!! I’m interested in trying the Paula’s choice product you mentioned now.
So excited to see you test Korean skincare! 🔥💕
Kelsey Lyon it bothers my eyes when i have makeup on because it smears my mascara and it goes in my eyes
It could be the hyaluronic acid in it. I’m sensitive to it too.
Idk what it is, but ceraVe burns my entire face. Which is bizarre because My face isn’t sensitive! Works wonders for my sister though! I must be allergic to something in it (not hyaluronic acid, never heard of that being a thing, as it draws water into your skin and moisturizes)
Burns.my.face.😠
@@Sky-fz7ku a lot of people have been getting irritated from hylauronic acid it seems like. A dermatologist said so.
I use the same amount of cleansing balm, and love the textures, but i do have to use that amount or less for it to be worth it. 3 oz of cleansing balm and 6oz of oil cleanser are usually around the same price point, but a balm i would call good will spread further
You should use the paulas choice Azelaic serum! It’s good for redness
the mario badescu hylaronic eye cream has helped my undereyes so much and it's affordable and fragrance free. their buttermilk moisturizer is awesome and has helped calm my skin so much.
would loveeee to see the more in depth video about your fav face masks!
“Don’t taste this” lmao 🤣 I’m sorry that happened to you lol
I just screamed like a girl at Justin Bieber concert when I saw that you liked my comment... I’m 28 years old lmao I promise I am an “adult” whatever that means lol
Azreal Amor You’re too cute! 😂
the milk moisturizer is so good! my skin is incredibly dry and it’s the only moisturizer that actually does what i need it to do
For me, CeraVe hydro cleanser kinds stings and kicks up my rosacea. I’ve been using La Roche-Pasay TOLERIANE HYDRATING GENTLE FACIAL CLEANSER. It does not sting or flare my issues. It’s worth adding a few more bucks to upgrade to LRP.
The ingredient Zinc is great for acne and redness . It’s one the ingredients in my curology. Allie Glines even takes a pill form of Zinc
The la roche posay is 15 for 13.5 oz. The CeraVe is 15 for 12 oz. :) I adore the toleraine
Nevermind, I use the toleraine gentle cleanser, not the dermo cleanser. I dont know what the difference is.
Ive never did so much skincare in my life. (Mostly no makeup since weeks) And my mom noticed that my skin got a lot better.
Love your skincare videos!! A great toner is the Klairs Supple Preparation. I get the unscented version because I am quite sensitive, and it is so hydrating and calming on my skin!
Also the rose hip oil is a holy grail for me too!! But honeymoon glow broke me out so bad!! And I love and use the laniege lip balm every night!
Ole Henrickson just came out with a new vitamin c serum that is thicker like the Sunday Riley one. You may prefer that one to the truth serum.
When you order a new toner you should purchase the Paula's Choice pore reducing toner! I use that with the 2% BHA and have been loving the results
If you start using adapalene again I would love another video. I had terrible acne until I started using Epiduo Forte but now I can’t use BHA products. It’s dried out my skin so I’ve used a ton of your recommendations for cleansers and moisturizers so far.
