Pat is a nice guy. John McAfee smoked him without intention. John must be so bored in life only so many ndividuals would be intellectually stimulating. Not referring to Pat.
Pat at times just does not seem to grasp in conversation what John is expressing and communicating.
Note to be Pat: When someone gives you an analogy of 8, 9, 10 it might be interesting to not repeat your interpretation of what has been said with your
      2, 3, 4. A big miss there.

This makes more sense today, than ever! Very deep & interesting debate and Patrick was right on some points where John could not see the bigger picture. He even missed the AI getting to light, to have a different perspective where in theory, could do things better than hackers and stuff that John probably could've been aware of, at that time. Also, Patrick "paranoia" regarding the system finding his ways to limit or control crypto were justified, keeping in mind that as we speak, they already working on this and at least in Europe, passed laws to put you out of law if you don't declare your web3 assets, or even if you buy/sell with crypto anonymous. Let's say you wanna buy a car, a house or whatever, you'll have to justify it. Yeah, they might not have access to your assets without private key, but they can take your freedom, so probably you'll end up giving them whatever they asking for, in change of your "freedom" or life. Tricky debate & hope I'm wrong, but things looks to already going that direction.

Just a practical guy. If we want to protect ourselves then we have to make the hard decisions. Do we want to have 24/7 access to information? We are being led into a very bad place and this man knows it, and paid the price for wanting to let people know. That is the lowdown.

You could feel the slightest bit of awkward tension between John and Pat on a couple occasions. I think John may have dropped a few truth bombs that Pat wasn't quite ready to hear, but Pat is intelligent and rational enough to give it all some thought in a logical manner. Some of this stuff is tough to wrap your mind around when you first hear it, when everything you thought you knew about the world becomes fiction and the truth starts to slowly unveil itself. Once the shock wears off, the logic is there for a heck of a lot of these so-called "conspiracy theories". Great interview Pat and R.I.P. John!
