Yea, it's pretty clear that Moon is supposed to make children go to sleep and just that (also, Moon dances a lot, maybe he entertains them a bit as a way to make them sleep ins ome way), Moon is like, the character that tells hat this is not how it's suposed to be, those eyes certainly weren't supposd to glow red anytime.
I think it's really cute that Sun is meant to be the one who plays with the kids in the day and is all energetic, while Moon is more relaxing and vibey and sings lullabies and reads stories to the kids while they're going asleep. It's also kind of interesting, cuz it's almost like only Moon was affected by the virus in the pizzaplex and Sun is aware of this and is trying to keep the lights on as he knows Moon wouldn't want to hurt the kids
Yes! These guys had very great thinking! I wish we could see this behavior before the hack. There voices were probably the same as well. Just, Moon wouldn't have talked energetically.
I love how the creator made moon’s singing slightly robotic and sounding more like an animatronic. It’s a subtle detail but it really makes this animatic better and more realistic. Also since moon seems to be damaged and in need of maintenance, you can also interpret his voice in this as possibly not meant to be sounding like that because he’s broken. Either way, I absolutely love this animatic and it has me in the feels. 💙

The facial expressions were flawless. How moon was showing comfort to the child even though he was on Maintenance. He put on a whole show for him! How the child was scared and trying to see what was wrong with Moon at the end, too. The look of worry on his face to see if he was OK.. Flawless. I truely wish this Daycare was a real thing just so I could experience all of these wonderful things (besides moon going berserk!)

I think Moon is really good. Maybe Vanessa influenced him so much, most likely she hacked all the animatronics at night, while Moon was putting the children to bed. I would add an ending where Gregory fixes everyone and re-programs and Vanessa becomes normal and adopts Gregory (Sorry if there are mistakes)

I've always been emotionally attached to Sundrop but I've never really liked Moon. I've always seen Moon as an evil character with nothing else to his personality other than wanting to punish "bad children" whereas Sundrop has a lot more depth. I last watched this animation 20 hours ago and I just came back to it. I'm not going to lie, Moon is growing on me a little.
To be fair the system of most animaitronics were messed up so moon as another system possibly got messed up and wasnt like he was in the game?? Just a thought to consider

sun is supposed to make you and the rest of the children feel happy, amazing, and feel like you’re having fun. he’s supposed to make you feel warm and sweet inside. of course he is. he’s Sun. but in this…the moon is the warm one. sweet. calming. quiet. gentle. he’s so soft and whimsical, and somehow radiates more warmth than sun ever could. the warmth reaches and tickles the heart, making the animatronic all the more lovable. i adore the way you made moon’s personality.
The emotions you cycled us through showing just how magical and caring Moon can be. I adore this AU and am very much invested in it. I love the call back to the "You can't hide" animatic. This song was so well drawn i actually shed a tear due to the pure emotion and feeling this song showed. You also showed how kind and gentle Moon can be and although he still has his dark/negative moments, he isn't a bad guy just troubled is all. All in all, a job very well done!

I absolutely love this. It gives a nice idea of how the moon character was originally intended. I love the drawing of Sundrop and Moondrop with humanoid features, and the voice singing was very calming a peaceful to listen to. Thank you for your hard work 🙂
That was my thought too. Like "oh god, whats he gonna do to the kid?" And then I saw him lift himself up holding the kid and thought "he's gonna drop them he's gonna drop them he's gonna drop them" And then when he came down, was thinking "oh...OK...."

I cannot express how much I adore this. I’ve always kind of stayed away from AU’s and characters redesigned with a human-like form, but this is absolutely beautiful and it’s impossible to dislike.

Okay, this is the second AU I've EVER been invested in, and one of the very few animations longer than 1 minute that I've rewatched. You have caught me. Give me the story, I desire to read and consume it. MMMMmmmmmMMMmmmmm Seriously, this is excellent. I love your Sun/Moon designs and it's so hard making such a long animatic engaging, but you somehow did it. Brilliant.
No words can express how good this song and animation was. I also like how it wasn't one of those loud fun songs that are nice to listen to but not all the time. This is more of a song to vibe to then to dance to and I like that!
Watched it three times and lost two hours worth of sleep, but I understand the ending. For those who dont get it(cuz it took me a while) the guy at the end is that little kid, and he managed to survive Moon. When he was coming back with a bunch of friends, he remembered the encounter.
The twist got me. I love how moon's so magical and caring here but can't help himself, how the little one just completely trust moom without questioning why he's broken and alone. Great job

I love how he was so good to that little boy but when his programming virus came online you could see his fear. He turned away to avoid scaring him as much as possible but it wasn't enough. I bet it broke his heart when that kid ran away. We know he had to. But I stand by the idea he knew it wasn't Moons fault. He looked back, not because he was scared but because he was sad at what they'd done to him. I bet he remembered that Moon wasn't evil, stood up for him. One day, he came back to fix him so he could be himself again. He proved he was safe.

Moon, since I've figured out who he was, has been a comfort character for me, or I guess the calmer side of him that they show. I've always liked that starts and sleep and just night in general, and the way people show how he might have just been changed and lost emotions is a problem that I have.
I don't know the complete context to the story of this animatic's AU, but I love what I'm seeing. The art is very clean and fresh, as well as the designs of both the original and canon characters. I like how things are portrayed in this. All in all, really pretty piece that I'd love to know the story of.

I can't pin why but the electronic tone is very comforting. The art is beautiful and really gives Moon that soft nurturing vibe that I think he had before the whole Vanny thing. Honestly I have been searching to do a roleplay myself on discord as Moon but have yet to actually find a group that has his role open- Besides this I love how when he was damaged it gave a robotic tone, kind of hinting to the more broken side of him. Even the most twisted person can have a pure heart of gold

I think Moon is really good. Maybe Vanessa influenced him so much, most likely she hacked all the animatronics at night, while Moon was putting the children to bed. I would add an ending where Gregory fixes everyone and re-programs and Vanessa becomes normal and adopts Gregory (Sorry if there are mistakes)

I've always been emotionally attached to Sundrop but I've never really liked Moon. I've always seen Moon as an evil character with nothing else to his personality other than wanting to punish "bad children" whereas Sundrop has a lot more depth. I last watched this animation 20 hours ago and I just came back to it. I'm not going to lie, Moon is growing on me a little.

sun is supposed to make you and the rest of the children feel happy, amazing, and feel like you’re having fun. he’s supposed to make you feel warm and sweet inside. of course he is. he’s Sun.
but in this…the moon is the warm one. sweet. calming. quiet. gentle.
he’s so soft and whimsical, and somehow radiates more warmth than sun ever could. the warmth reaches and tickles the heart, making the animatronic all the more lovable. i adore the way you made moon’s personality.
“Memories swim and haunt you” hits different because it’s true memories always find its way to come back🌙🌅
The emotions you cycled us through showing just how magical and caring Moon can be. I adore this AU and am very much invested in it. I love the call back to the "You can't hide" animatic. This song was so well drawn i actually shed a tear due to the pure emotion and feeling this song showed. You also showed how kind and gentle Moon can be and although he still has his dark/negative moments, he isn't a bad guy just troubled is all. All in all, a job very well done!

I cannot express how much I adore this. I’ve always kind of stayed away from AU’s and characters redesigned with a human-like form, but this is absolutely beautiful and it’s impossible to dislike.

Watched it three times and lost two hours worth of sleep, but I understand the ending. For those who dont get it(cuz it took me a while) the guy at the end is that little kid, and he managed to survive Moon. When he was coming back with a bunch of friends, he remembered the encounter.
The twist got me. I love how moon's so magical and caring here but can't help himself, how the little one just completely trust moom without questioning why he's broken and alone. Great job

I love how he was so good to that little boy but when his programming virus came online you could see his fear. He turned away to avoid scaring him as much as possible but it wasn't enough. I bet it broke his heart when that kid ran away. We know he had to. But I stand by the idea he knew it wasn't Moons fault. He looked back, not because he was scared but because he was sad at what they'd done to him. I bet he remembered that Moon wasn't evil, stood up for him. One day, he came back to fix him so he could be himself again. He proved he was safe.

Moon, since I've figured out who he was, has been a comfort character for me, or I guess the calmer side of him that they show. I've always liked that starts and sleep and just night in general, and the way people show how he might have just been changed and lost emotions is a problem that I have.
I don't know the complete context to the story of this animatic's AU, but I love what I'm seeing. The art is very clean and fresh, as well as the designs of both the original and canon characters. I like how things are portrayed in this.
All in all, really pretty piece that I'd love to know the story of.

This invoked something in me that I can't tell what, but I has breathing a bit faster and felt an unease through it all, yet was also safe and calm??? idk either tbh.
Edit: I keep coming back for this feeling, it's nice, I want more like this. I no longer feel unease and just feel comfort.
