Just the thing nobody even knew, that she was battling terminal cancer at the time, and still killed that song, people thought that she shady Patti LaBelle by not shaking her hand, but in all actuality, she was suffering from cancer, and she could not afford to get any germs at the time, and it was not told to the public, at the time that she had cancer, so Patti, and rightfully so took it the wrong way, along with the world, and it really hurt Patti's feelings, until she found out why, which wasn't untill just a few months before Aretha died.
