    There is a real skill to not falling hard on tricks like these. Not falling on your ads 50 times is more impressive then landing the trick i think. 🤘😝🤘

    • @rtmwzd
      @rtmwzd 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Word. Flip in back tails down ledges especially nasty with the board bouncing around in the area where you are landing... 😬

    • @snailcage
      @snailcage 5 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      I’ve always said one of the most important part of being a professional skater is being professional at falling, even if you have the skill needed to land the hardest tricks you still need the ability to bail without hurting yourself before you can even consider landing it

    • @rtmwzd
      @rtmwzd 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Snail Cage Reminds me of an adage in table tennis, “serving is half your game”. Beginners forget this and focus more on volleying than developing extensive serving ability.
      Skating is similar. Like you mentioned, you’re gonna bail a lot, so bail good. 🤙

    Looking back at my life and my days of skateboarding I can say that what I enjoyed most about skateboarding was it taught me a true mean of Perseverance. Skateboarding taught me to keep trying and no matter how many time I fall, I had to get back up and try again, eventually you will land on your feet. I use this teaching throughout my life now. Thanks skateboard, you have no idea how much you influenced me to keep pushing.

  • @technodrome

    Such a crazyass trick... you gotta pop the inward heel at an angle, catch it fullly mid-rotation, and slip right into the back tail.

    • @northeastjerk6381
      @northeastjerk6381 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are correct! Crazy angle and hard trick...just would rather see it once and be amazed than see the 3 weeks and ten thousand tries that went into it. Makes pros seem weak0

      @@northeastjerk6381 Trying to get a trick like that in the streets is amazing enough it should be suspenseful for you not a drag..... Idk if skateboarding is for you at all not even this channel......it's not football or baseball or golf or even BMX. this is for people with a grasp on what happens when someone with talented footwork braves the streets. The only thing I would say that maybe hurts more than skateboarding is holding your breath until death, and I think slams on rails maybe still hurt more than dying due to lack of oxygen.
