It's actually helped me find out that I enjoy many more games than I thought I would. I would have never played XCOM, Darkest Dungeon, multiple rogue-likes, and several others without seeing how much fun they could (or how poorly played) by the Almighty Eggfather.
The commentary and gaming is interesting for sure. But despite his random tangents on things, I find him a very rational, reasonable , and relatable person. which is incredibly refreshing since I live in America and that's depressingly few and far between here .
Just imagine the day that NL hangs up his YT career hat and we look back on what will inevitably be hundreds of thousands of hours of content, and borrowing from the finale of Futurama, we'd have the option of going back to the beginning and seeing it all over again.

He'll probably be back soon but Dan has still been doing it with special guests. Most of the episodes have been absolute fire. The one where he interviews Mathas was amazing. It completely changed my view of him. I think they're uploaded on Dan's channel as well as all the main podcast services.

Thats how I treat PGA, I just ease into the episode and listen to it while doing something else, then pay attention to later segments if its something that visual is needed. I forget they're even playing it cause its almost exclusively a banter section, which is fine but I agree its not the most engaging gameplay.
