Igloo Bar Ice Fishing on Frozen Lake of the Woods

Drove out onto the Zippel Bay Ice Road to get a beer at the Igloo Bar on frozen Lake of the Woods.

When you drive on ice, best to not wear your seat belt. Also good to have a window open. That lake is fine as the ice is plenty deep enough.

I have been there a couple of times. I have fished LOW for 45 years.
If you really want to catch walleye, come up for opening weekend and fish the Rainy River where it enters the lake.
