When I was a kid living TEXAS, My Dad would take me to fishing barges... They were air conditioned, had big square holes and you could sit around and fish (hold poles with bait on them? in comfort while having a beer,, sammich, etc. lol Remember lots of Crappie and lots of Carp. but the holes in those barges were huge. larger than a 2 car garage and there were usually 2 of these. This was back in the 50's early 60's.
